Wisdom & Warning

Published on July 6, 2011

Something astounding is going on and the elders in the Arctic Circle are telling us that even the position of the earth relative to the sun and stars has changed. NASA certainly is saying nothing about this but these elders are anything but idiots about their domain in the far north. It serves us to listen to these natives who live close to the earth, sun, moon and stars.

Many dramatic events are coming about and the day in January when the sun came up two days early in Greenland we should have taken more notice. World scientists could not come up with a reasonable explanation so none was provided but they did reject the idea that the earth’s orbit changed in any way. Since then we’ve seen a staggering number of signs indicating major changes are unfolding.

Something has provoked a profound alteration to conditions on our planet driving the atmosphere and earth into convulsion. The weather continues to be beyond worst-case-scenario expectations of weathermen everywhere. Epic floods, massive wildfires, drought and the deadliest tornado season in 60 years are ravaging the United States, with scientists warning that even more extreme weather is on the way. From all points on the compass come reports of natural disasters. Life is getting extremely uncomfortable for earth’s populations as record heat, cold, rain and drought conditions are recorded.

Many of us are seduced by childish happy talk. Who wants to hear
that we are advancing not toward a paradise of happy consumption
and personal prosperity but toward disaster? Dying civilizations
often prefer hope, even absurd hope, to truth. It makes life easier
to bear. It lets them turn away from the hard choices ahead.
– Chris Hedges

Earthquakes are shaking the four corners of the globe while volcanoes blow their tops one after another. Sinkholes are swallowing houses and beaches while all over the world the ground opens up giant crevices like the one below.

The earth’s magnetic shield is weakening and is in the process of having its magnetic field reverse with magnetic north moving at 40 kilometers a year south toward Siberia.

Ozone holes also have become more prevalent and we can see what that is doing to the whales already. Painful sunburns are usually associated with people, but many whales are now acutely sunburned, with cases escalating in recent years, according to new research. The study, published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B, is the first to demonstrate that sun damage to whale skin is on the rise and is likely tied to increasing levels of ultraviolet radiation resulting from the thinning ozone layer. “The thing is, whales do not have hair, fur or feathers that could offer some protection, and they are forced to surface in order to breathe,” co-author Karina Acevedo-Whitehouse told Discovery News.

It is more dangerous on the surface of our planet than at any moment in recorded history.

Scotland’s sunniest city experienced a freak hailstorm at the end of June.

A severe hailstorm left many Kansas wheat fields in ruins but the big news from the Midwest is the flooding of the Missouri river and the threat of damage to two nuclear plants if the water levels go only a few feet higher. If one of the upriver dams goes, the United States of America is in for some big trouble.

Rushing floodwater is up around the walls of Fort Calhoun’s reactor building, turbine hall, and other auxiliary buildings onsite. Gunter warned that if Fort Calhoun Nuclear Station’s back-up generators fail, “the final line of defense in terms of running vital reactor cooling systems would be direct current (DC) emergency batteries. At most U.S. atomic reactors, such batteries have only four hours of life.” After four hours, a core meltdown would begin. The plant has lost power for cooling twice.

A huge swarm of jellyfish today clogged up the coal-fired Orot Rabin plant in Hadera, Israel, a day after the Torness nuclear facility in Scotland was closed in a similar incident. Hadera ran into trouble when jellyfish blocked its seawater supply, which it uses for cooling purposes, forcing officials to use diggers to remove them. A new report warned changing conditions in the world’s oceans are causing an explosion in jellyfish populations.

Sask. flooding prompts 150-km closure of Trans-Canada

A large portion of the Trans-Canada Highway in eastern Saskatchewan is closed due to flooding.

Despite heavy rains and flooding in the north, there is little relief for the Deep South, according to U.S. climatologists. The “drought monitor” report from a consortium of national climate experts said that over the last week, the worst level of drought, called “exceptional drought,” expanded to cover more than 70 percent of Texas. And 91 percent of the Lone Star State suffers from either exceptional drought or the second-worst category, “extreme drought.”

Texas Disaster

Texas Drought Natural Disaster

Drought and wildfires have lead to the decision by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to declare the entire state of Texas a natural disaster. In Los Alamos, New Mexico the wildfires encroached upon the site of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, the nuclear laboratory where the first atomic bomb was developed. The fire stopped only meters from approximately 18 million cubic feet of radioactive and chemical solid wastes that were not in protective casks or bunkers.

A massive dust storm 50 miles wide in some spots descended on the Phoenix area on Tuesday night, drastically reducing visibility and delaying flights as strong winds toppled trees and caused power outages for thousands of residents in the valley. The wall of dust towered over skyscrapers downtown.

Above, a woman looks at volcanic ash on the shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake in Bariloche, Argentina on 12 June 2011 after the eruption of the Chilean Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcano. Airborne ash from the volcano in Chile’s Puyehue-Cordon Caulle chain, which erupted on June 4, spewed an ash cloud that caused air traffic chaos around the world. Experts say fine ash particles could continue to affect air travel for months. Auckland-based climate change scientist Jim Salinger has claimed that if sulfur dioxide (SO2) in the plumes mixes with water, it could cause some climate cooling in the next two months. “It is like putting a curtain around the hemisphere—the curtain reflects the sunlight and cools the air below the ash.”

Who is Going to Pay?

The tornadoes and floods that pummeled much of the South and Midwest have also dealt a serious blow to struggling state budgets, potentially forcing new cuts to education and other services to offset hundreds of millions of dollars in disaster aid. “The disaster could not have come at a much worse time from a budget standpoint,” said David Perry, Alabama’s finance director. The budget lawmakers adopted included “relatively steep cuts for many state agencies, and the tornado outbreak only adds to our budget pressure going forward.”

Who is going to pay for repairs to crumbling infrastructure in the United States and elsewhere around the first world? No one! Who is going to pay when things go wrong at nuclear reactors? Or when people get dislocated, who is going to pay for the food of refugees? The world is fast running out of money just at the moment when natural disasters are rising, threatening millions of people.

The moment is coming when there simply will not be the resources to maintain civilization. We have already seen, with Katrina and its impact on New Orleans, what happens when disasters overwhelm governmental response.

Governments will not be able to cope with much more. Financial collapse in the face of disasters of Nature will bring our contemporary civilization to the brink of anarchy and there is little we can do but prepare our families. The world as we know it is coming to an end. And what will follow will not be pleasant or easy.

Conclusion

It is a good moment to return to the above video and listen again to the elders at the top of the world. They are telling us that the position of our precious earth has changed but that does not address why it changed. Scientists are telling us that the huge mega quakes in Japan, Chile and New Zealand actually have thrown the inclination of the planet off by a few inches.

Natural disasters that are already occurring are apocalyptic to those who suffer through them. Let’s face it—we are up against something stupendous that will send most of us scrambling—too late—into preparation mode. All of humankind is threatened by simultaneous apocalyptic horsemen riding tough on dark stallions.

There has never been a better time to tune to love and to our fellow human beings to build strong bonds in which to increase our chances of survival. Together we stand divided we fall will take on new meaning to people who don’t even say hello to their neighbors.

Chris Hedges, a Pulitzer Prize–winning author and former international correspondent for the New York Times writes, “What we are seeing is the beginning of a catastrophic breakdown of globalization. The world as we know it is coming to an end. Most of us are reacting to the great unraveling by pretending it is not happening but events will implode right in our faces whether we like it or not. The deadly convergence of environmental and economic catastrophe is not coincidental. Corporations turn everything, from human beings to the natural world, into commodities they ruthlessly exploit until exhaustion or death. The race of doom is now between environmental collapse and global economic collapse. Which will get us first? Or will they get us at the same time?”

Environmental collapse? Not likely. Economic it is.

Re: Earth Changes – I did notice just after the Japan earthquake that the robins here (Ontario, Canada) were starting their morning song at about 3-3:30 am. I just couldn’t figure out why on earth they were singing in the middle of the night – at first I thought maybe it was a raccoon or some other predator disturbing the nest and the bird was warning others, but it continued for a number of nights. Then it hit me – the quake tilted us. The birds must use the position of the stars to know when morning is about to break – this bird was singing because the stars were on the horizon in the pre-quake position and the bird expected the sun to rise at any time based on the old position. It took about a month for this bird to adapt its morning song back to 5:15/5:30 am. We are so unaware of how far the ripple effect reaches and it is so saddening to me.

Great article Mark; I no longer have time to debate illusion vs. reality, cooling vs. warming. It’s all just happening quickly, the meat of the situation is we’re in deep, on the precipice of something much deeper. Thanks for your sobering assessment; I too believe “summertime done come and gone” for the great U. S. of A., the rest of the planet not looking too good either, by our perception. We know greater forces are merely operating in the context of their cycles.

We give thanks for the day and our lives, and all that is. We embrace each other, our music, love and healing, and get some joy going on in our limited time here…”such a long, long, time to be gone, and a short time to be there”….

  • Tom

I am confused. Over the past year this site has been peddling the story that global cooling is happening. The video that we were urged to watch speaks about global warming again with rivers failing to freeze and seals getting sunburnt. Can you please make up your mind which it is please. The only thing these scenarios seem to have in common is the spread of fear. I have read a lot on the topic of climate charge (formally global warming) and it seems all the temperature changes over the past 110 years or so are within the range of normal variation, with no evidence of any accelerated sea level increases. So the whole issue looks like a non-event to me.

  • Change in the sun’s apparent “position” is simply accounted for in terms of atmosphere temperature, the mirage effect being increased as per wiki/Inversion_(meteorology). Probably an effect of global warming. Nothing weird going on. Or any manifestation of superior “wisdom” of the Inuit. The elders have made impressively correct observations though!

  • grumpy bear

All due respects to Creator & all creation. I watched the Inuit video & saw much politics/media coverage using the native as a sell point for fear, after all, they are not scientists. The politico-eco buzz words of “climate change”,which was formerly, “global warming” is the new rally point. It is like the AMA who gives a disease a name & treats symtoms, not cause/source. The earth change scenario reminds me of a bumper sticker which stated,”the time for peaceful resolution is past, now is the time for senseless bickering”.The deck chairs are being rearranged on this earth Titanic while the band plays on.The ship is at a 45degree angle with all peoples topside holding on to what or whom? Jaylene is correct,we have life & all we can do is the best we can do. Life goes on with or w/o us. Is it we the willing or kicking & screaming & each one for themselves? I say, get it together people & do the right thing as we are not alone. The ‘end time’ has always been there dangling like a blade & whatever that ‘end time’ means to each one is different, yes, but end just the same. When you are ‘tuned’ in to what really matters,i.e.,focused like a laser through stilling the mind, the earth & all will speak to you. Its not too late to connect,plug-in, so to speak. I will share something, not for boasting or ego, & take it as you wish please. Medicine people are born the way they are & chosen by the existing medicine elder circle/lodge.It is not new age pretending this or that. Changing ones name from ‘Smith” to ‘white eagle’ does not bestow the gifts. It is born. All of life is about learning & Creator has all the answers,we can only know by our capacity to know & still not all. Now,my native family has returned from ‘their’ mountain. They have fasted/prayed a long time & I will see them soon. One thing is, they are not moving to Belize or anywhere else. My message is, do the best you can do,don’t freak out, live & die with Spirit intact. Do not loose connection with Spirit. Do not sabotage your mind with negative thoughts, let them be,they serve no purpose only to confuse. Our Spirit is not confused, only buried with mind talk/chatter.Remain hopeful, faithful to good only. If all seems lost,we must find one person per day to have them smile,to feel loved,to show them Creator never gives up. That lost person is us & what good we do for them we also do for ourself. We feel better immediately, life makes more sense. Be that small pebble that makes ripples from good.

  • Jaylene

Everybody dies on this planet… and in the end it no longer matters how, or why. So, ask yourself – what sense of urgency has come over us all? If we shed any and all fear, what do we have left? Brothers and sisters, time is short; it always has been. Each of us was born with a purpose, and it was not simply to die. I believe that even the survival of the human race is quite trivial when compared with what is truly important.. let us not forget these things in the midst of panic; let us not take for granted that we may be “young” or “safe” for the moment. Let us each strive for just one great thing in this life. Let us not be souls born in vain…

  • great article,
and as we know- natives everywhere will be the first to understand the changes that are imminent-
I have not forgotten or am ignoring our Sanctuary talks, but simply cannot make a move without our Belize land selling… we are working on it-
anyone want to own in Belize?

and for some reason I have been led to spend the summer in Oregon, maybe to find more interested participants…
always sending you the highest energy and blessings Dr. Mark for speaking your truth-
    Destino

    • Jaylene

Again, why are you leaving Belize? Funny, two days ago my husband suggested selling and taking off, and I said ok, we’re moving to belize, quite randomly.

  • Claire Buchan

I would suggest that everyone who is interested in our galaxy and who is aware that our planet Earth is losing it’s magnetic field should read 2 books by Robert W. Felix. The titles are:

Not by Fire but by Ice, and
    Magnetic Reversal and Evolutionary Leaps

    The author’s website is:

    http://www.iceagenow.com

    I keep re-reading these 2 books.

I must thank the magazine NEXUS for opening my mind to many issues which are not dealt with by other publications.

    Claire

    • George

      Claire,

I keep reading the Bible, especially the book of Revelation, the conclusion to God’s divine, universal economy. Supernatural calamities (Rev 6:12-17) are predicted to take place shortly before the Lord Jesus is to return to establish His kingdom of righteousness and peace on this earth. This will usher in “…the times of restoration of all things” (Acts 3:21) as prophesied in Isa.11:1-10 and 65:18-25 and referred to by Christ in Matt. 17:11 and 19:28. How we need to daily pray the very last prayer in the Bible: “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Rev 22:20).

  • David

Lots of unusual stuff happening now. Even UFOs are more numerous now than before. What is the message that these occurences are sending? Is nature in upheaval? Are the Annunaki returning? Do the elites have weapons and technology that can create such upheavals, even as side effects? Will mankind go the way of the dinosaurs? Are these the endtimes?
