There should be no more confusion about whether or not marijuana is effective for cancer patients. Medical marijuana is chemotherapy, natural style, for all cancer patients. The two forms of hemp oil, one with THC and CBD and the other CBD alone (which is pretty much legal everywhere) provide the body with chemo therapeutics without the danger and staggering side effects. There are many essays in this site about cancer patients using marijuana and other itens from my protocol, but in this one we present a quick overview of the science that backs up the assertion that every cancer patient and every oncologist should put medical marijuana on their treatment maps.

What you will see in this essay is reference to many scientific studies that are all viewable on governmental sites. The United States government is pathetic in its dishonesty about medical marijuana both believing in it and holding patents for its medical use and claiming at the same time that it has no medical use. The federal government and still many states would rather throw innocent people in jail for using medical marijuana than be honest about how much it can help people recover from cancer and other diseases.

Below are summaries to just some of the scientific research out there that sustains the belief that medical marijuana will help people cure their cancer.

CBD and Breast Cancer

One of the most exciting areas of current research in the cannabinoid field is the study of the potential application of these compounds as antitumor drugs. CBD represents the first nontoxic exogenous agent that can significantly decrease Id-1 expression in metastatic breast cancer cells leading to the down-regulation of tumor aggressiveness.[1],[2] The CBD concentrations effective at inhibiting Id-1 expression correlated with those used to inhibit the proliferative and invasive phenotype of breast cancer cells. Of the five cannabinoids tested: cannabidiol, cannabigerol, cannnabichromene; cannabidiol-acid and THC-acid, it was found that cannabidiol is the most potent inhibitor of cancer cell growth. Taken together, these data might set the bases for a cannabinoid therapy for the management of breast cancer.[3]

CBD and Lung Cancer

Results show that Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol reduces tumor growth, tumor number, and the amount/severity of lung metastases in MMTV-neu mice.[4] Cannabinoids induce ICAM-1, thereby conferring TIMP-1 induction and subsequentdecreased cancer cell invasiveness thus inhibits lung cancer invasion and metastasis.[5]

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Researchers have observed expression of CB1 (24%) and CB2 (55%) in NSCLC patients. They have also shown that the treatment of NSCLC cell lines (A549 and SW-1573) with CB1/CB2- and CB2-specific agonists Win55,212-2 and JWH-015, respectively, significantly attenuated random as well as growth factor-directed in vitro chemotaxis and chemoinvasion in these cells.[6]

Researchers in lung cancers also reported that they observed significant reduction in focal adhesion complex, which plays an important role in cancer migration. Medical marijuana significantly inhibited in vivo tumor growth and lung metastasis (∼50%).[7]

CBD and Pancreatic Cancer

In research on pancreatic cancer it was found that cannabinoids lead to apoptosis of pancreatic tumor cells via a CB2 receptor and de novo synthesized ceramide-dependent up-regulation of p8 and the endoplasmic reticulum stress–related genes ATF-4 and TRB3. These findings may contribute to set the basis for a new therapeutic approach for the treatment of pancreatic cancer as reported by the National Cancer Institute.

CBD and Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer cells possess increased expression of both cannabinoid 1 and 2 receptors, and stimulation of these results in decrease in cell viability, increased apoptosis, and decreased androgen receptor expression and prostate-specific antigen excretion.[8]

CBD and Colorectal Carcicoma

In colorectal carcinoma cell lines, cannabidiol protected DNA from oxidative damage, increased endocannabinoid levels and reduced cell proliferation in a CB(1)-, TRPV1- and PPARγ-antagonists sensitive manner. It is concluded that cannabidiol exerts chemopreventive effect in vivo and reduces cell proliferation through multiple mechanisms.[9]

Ovarian cancer represents one of the leading cause of cancer-related deaths for women and is the most common gynecologic malignancy. Results with medical marijuana support a new therapeutic approach for the treatment of ovarian cancer. It is also conceivable that with available cannabinoids as lead compounds, non-habit forming agents that have higher biological effects could be developed.[10]

CBD and leukaemia and lymphoma cell

Examination of a number of human leukaemia and lymphoma cell lines demonstrate that CB2 cannabinoid receptors expressed on malignancies of the immune system may serve as potential targets for the induction of apoptosis. Also, because CB2 agonists lack psychotropic effects, they may serve as novel anticancer agents to selectively target and kill tumors of immune origin.[11] Plant-derived cannabinoids, including Delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), induce apoptosis in leukemic cells.[12]

Cannabinoid-treated tumors showed an increased number of apoptotic cells. This was accompanied by impairment of tumor vascularization, as determined by altered blood vessel morphology and decreased expression of proangiogenic factors (VEGF, placental growth factor, and angiopoietin. Abrogation of EGF-R function was also observed in cannabinoid-treated tumors.[13] These results support a new therapeutic approach for the treatment of skin tumors.

CBD and Hepatocellular carcinoma

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the third cause of cancer-related death worldwide. When these tumors are in advanced stages, few therapeutic options are available. In this study, the effects of cannabinoids–a novel family of potential anticancer agents–on the growth of HCC was investigated. It was found that Δ(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ(9)-THC, the main active component of Cannabis sativa) and JWH-015 (a cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB(2)) cannabinoid receptor-selective agonist) reduced the viability of the human HCC cell lines Cannabinoids were able to inhibit tumor growth and ascites in an orthotopic model of HCC xenograft.[14] These findings may contribute to the design of new therapeutic strategies for the management of HCC.

Both cholangiocarcinoma cell lines and surgical specimens from cholangiocarcinoma patients expressed cannabinoid receptors. THC inhibited cell proliferation, migration and invasion, and induced cell apoptosis. THC also decreased actin polymerization and reduced tumor cell survival in anoikis assay. pMEK1/2 and pAkt demonstrated the lower extent than untreated cells. Consequently, THC is potentially used to retard cholangiocarcinoma cell growth and metastasis.[15]

Smoking marijuana might decrease the smoker’s risk for bladder cancer, a new study shows. Retrospectively analyzing a large database of patients, researchers at Kaiser Permanente in California found that patients who reported cannabis use were 45% less likely to be diagnosed with bladder cancer than patients who did not smoke at all.

THC is a potent inducer of apoptosis, even at 1 x IC(50) (inhibitory concentration 50%) concentrations and as early as 6 hours after exposure to the drug. These effects were seen in leukemic cell lines (CEM, HEL-92, and HL60) as well as in peripheral blood mononuclear cells.[16] Cannabinoids represent a novel class of drugs active in increasing the life span in mice carrying Lewis lung tumors and decreasing primary tumor size.[17]

CBD and Cervical Cancer

Research has also found a cannabidiol-driven impaired invasion of human cervical cancer (HeLa, C33A) and human lung cancer cells (A549) that was reversed by antagonists to both CB(1) and CB(2) receptorrs as well as to transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1). The decrease of invasion by cannabidiol appeared concomitantly with up regulation of tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP the findings provide a novel mechanism underlying the anti-invasive action of cannabidiol and imply its use as a therapeutic option for the treatment of highly invasive cancers.[18]

A new anticancer quinone (HU-331) was synthesized from cannabidiol. It shows significant high efficacy against human cancer cell lines in vitro and against in vivo tumor grafts in nude mice. Two non-psychotropic cannabinoids, cannabidiol (CBD) and cannabidiol-dimethylheptyl (CBD-DMH), induced apoptosis in a human acute myeloid leukemia (AML) HL-60 cell line.[19]

Other studies show a synthetic and potent cannabinoid receptor agonist, investigated in hepatoma HepG2 cells and a possible signal transduction pathway that is proposed, indicates a potential positive role in liver cancer.[20]Cannabinoids have been found to counteract intestinal inflammation and colon cancer.[21]

The control of the cellular proliferation has become a focus of major attention as opening new therapeutic possibilities for the use of cannabinoids as potential antitumor agents.[22] Cannabinoid treatment inhibits angiogenesis of gliomas in vivo.[23] Remarkably, cannabinoids kill glioma cells selectively and can protect non-transformed glial cells from death. These and other findings reviewed here might set the basis for a potential use of cannabinoids in the management of gliomas. Other confirming studies may provide the basis for a new therapeutic approach for thetreatment of malignant gliomas.[24]

Cannabinoid in Cancer Treatment – Summary

Cannabinoids are found to exert their anti-cancer effects in a number of ways and in a variety of tissues.

  • Triggering cell death, through a mechanism called apoptosis
  • Stopping cells from dividing
  • Preventing new blood vessels from growing into tumours
  • Reducing the chances of cancer cells spreading through the body, by stopping cells from moving or invading neighbouring tissue
  • Speeding up the cell’s internal ‘waste disposal machine’ – a process known as autophagy – which can lead to cell death

All these effects are thought to be caused by cannabinoids locking onto the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors. Almost daily we are seeing new or confirming evidence that Cannibinoids can be used to great benefit in cancer treatment of many types.

any suggestion , my dad suffering stage 4 colon cancer .. help me how to use cannabis oil , or dried leaves can also be use for treatment ? email me or reply to my comment

Great post…thanks for sharing about cannabis cures cancer. Cannabis oil is chemotherapy, natural style, for all cancer patients. Also Cannabis oil has been used for treatment of cancer, diabetes, crohn’s disease, gout, pain relief, Glaucoma and other life-impairing medical concerns. It is really helped many people as an alternative healing from pain, I also visited cbdoilempire[dot]com, for CBD Oil, offers the best selection of the top cannabis oil, CBD products all in one place.

  • Jacqueline Landau

Wow! Great success story!!! Thank’s for sharing.

  • It is true that cannabis can cure cancer, if it is taken in a right manner under the guidance of experienced mmj doctor.

  • Manu

Has there been any trial using cannabis treating sarcoidosis?

  • ALLAN I FRANKEL, MD

In the first paragraph, there is a statement regarding CBD as being available nearly everywhere. I assume this refers not to cannabis derived whole plant CBD, but to Hemp related CBD. It is true that the molecule is the same as the CBD molecule in cannabis, but it is missing all the hundreds of Terpene, Flavonoid and many minor cannabinoids. In clinical practice, I have found Hemp extracts to be of minimal value but CBD rich whole plant extracts from cannabis are truly amazing medicine.

    • James Peters

The only human study published to date was in nine patients with recurrent glioblastoma multiforme (PubMed PMC2360617). All had their tumours resected and a catheter was placed in the cavity after surgery. Then every day doctors would directly infuse a very pure THC solution at a high concentration directly into the cavity where the tumour had been, in the hope of killing off any remaining cancer cells. The median survival of the group was just 6 months which is what is generally expected with patients who have rGBM (PMC2839807 & 24193082). As for the two patients who survived the longest (yet still died), the effects could be attributable to spontaneous (but temporary) regression of the disease, a fairly common event (11296017), amount of surgical resection (26869588) or many other factors.

As for the oil then I can find one case report only (PMC3901602). Sadly P.K passed away within the time frame for someone with terminal cancer.

If you think whole plant extracts are truly amazing then I hope you publish a number of case reports so this claim has some evidence to back it up.

  • Irene Craft

I have read different things and I am getting confused. My husband was diagnosed 1 year ago with CLL, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. I was interested in CBD Oil for him. It would be easy for me to purchase and most things I read said it would be good. However, I have read an article that CBD alone can actually make things worse by increasing the white blood cell count. Is this correct? Is it necessary to have both THC and CBD to fight CLL? Thanks for any thoughts on this matter.

    • Ashley Outz

I would like to know the answer to this too…..

      • Jacqueline Landau

My two cents, Dr. Manuel Guzman, in Spain, whom I heard on a YouTube video state “Cancer uses various tools to get at us; we, too, need to use more than one tool to get at cancer, that’s why both THC and CBD are needed”. (Silly me — didn’t save the link….)

  • Internal Medicine

Cannamin Capsules from TeloMin Corporation in San Jose, CA are arresting and reversing multiple form of metastizations at lowest cost in my medical practice, from non carboxylated raw cannabis that is not psychoactive, triggering the P53 chromosone, and literally blocking any blood glucose uptake to cancers cells, liesions, tumors.

Can you explain me, which hamp oil to take for cancer? is it ok. to take charlotte’s web hamp extract, or I must to prepare hamp oil at home, as ii is shown in rick simpsons video? please help me

    • hempmeister

      it’s Hemp, not hamp!

    • Jacqueline Landau

I night embark on preparing my own oil in the future but, to get started, I’m in the process of finding a source of ready-made oil.

    • CharleeR

You use Cannabis Oil, from Cannabis plants, not Hemp. You usually need to take 1 gram per day for several months to kill the cancer. Unless you took chemo and radiation, then you usually have to take it for half a year or more to not just kill the cancer cells, but cure the body of the damage from the chemo and radiation. Just watch the youtube video “Run From The Cure”. Rick calls it Hemp, and that is confusing, although they are in the same family, but Hemp has no THC and THC is the main cancer killer, not CBD.

  • bonnie roberts

Did U notice Washington DC was one first state to legalize marijuana?

  • gwirfs

thanks for sharing this. I still have prostate gland–i have a lesion in it, not outside it yet. My last PSA few months ago was 35, and going to Dr Mark Scholz for next doppler sonogram-first in 2 years–in a month. He will want me to do biopsy, and then some regular treatment, which i do not want to do. But i have my CA medical marijuana ID–and want to start taking cannabis. Tell me what brand, and where you got yours. grwirfs@yahoo.com

  • Mary Walters

Can you tell me the brand and where to purchase? I’m desperate to find my aunt some relief! PLEASE!! Mkswalters@gmail.com

  • Keys

I don’t believe it is in the best interest of pharmaceutical companies to allow politicians to pass medical Marijuana use in the United States. I believe they pay billions of dollars to fight legalization. I don’t think they could make their 1000% plus profits on a natural substance. I believe they are all corrupt. My wife has stage 4 adenocarcinoma with pulmonary implications mastatasized to her hips and liver. I have recently asked three doctors what they thought of canibus oil. They all basically say the same thing “there is not enough research or evidence of any benefit except MAYBE for side effects. I don’t know the law know the law but I think they are quoting to cover their ass.

    • Jacqueline Landau

I think you’re 100% right. Not only that but think also about peer pressure; you think my doctor will gladly go along a cannabis oil therapy given the attitudes of his colleagues? He risks being ostracized and ridiculed and marginalized and, who knows, maybe thrown out of the hospital! it’s like medieval witch hunt.

  • AndrewGS

Smoking Cannabis will not get the amount of THC, CBD, or other Cannabinoids needed to cure Cancers. There are thousands of people who have been cured by Cannabis Oil. A low dose, or irregular use of Cannabis Oil have not cured cancers. As per research, you need the highest potent Cannabis oils to cure cancers. In addition, diet also is important.

  • SuzyU

Will hemp oil help cure Sarcoidosis?

our dog was recently diagnosed with leg cancer. the vet has her on prednisone 20mg twice a day. could we safely add cbd oil to the mix?

    • HEMPY

YES YOU CAN. YOU WON’T HAVE YOUR DOG OVERDOSE, EVEN RICK SIMPSON SPEAKS OF THIS. ADD IT TO THE DOG FOOD, THE DOGS LOVE IT.

  • Mimika Cooney

Many of the researchers now know about that and they all want to make marijuana for medically use legal..its a great deal that marijuana can cure cancer.

  • JR

You should tell your doctor ao they can give credit where credit is due. This way more studies can be done.

    • Jacqueline Landau

“Speak to your doctor about it”, as they say. I think it’s a good idea not to hide from one’s doctor as it puts pressure on them to not disregard this stuff completely.

  • JR

I read all these comments and a lot of them are full of errors. I have stage 4 breast cancer, diagnosed in 2013. In 2014 I began ingesting cannabis oil because that is the most effective way to get it to absorb into your system. My cancer has been halted. 1 tumour reduced in size and now there is no change, which is a good thing. Please do your research, read about Rick Simpson’s oil, read about others who have experience with this. I found my way through research. Most of what people are sayimg is incorrect. Do your homework! I believe Cannabis works on cancer cells. Test it for yourself.

    • Forget-Me-Not Ak49

My mom has stage 4 breast cancer. What protocol did you use? She is currently doing radiation but is in a lot of pain and the cancer is aggressive. She has a tumor that is in her armpit and many of lymph nodes are affected. How does one even go about using cannabis treatment? We live in Alaska so we have a lot of legal wiggle room but no idea how much or how often one would need to dose to be effective?

    • Jacqueline Landau

JR: You wrote “ingesting cannabis oil is the most effective…”, have you head of oil suppositories? According to my reading, it’s even more “potent” than oral ingesting. My two cents…

      • James Peters

There is no good evidence an oil would work. If we take into account the IC50 (the concentration of an inhibitor needed to reduce something by half) levels of both THC and CBD in preclinical studies (10-30+ uM) and the oral bioavailability of those in humans (PMID: 16306858) then we can work a few things out. The study shows the half-life is 1 hour and peak plasma (blood) levels are between 0.3-2.6 ng/ml. So a person would need to take 7-54 grams at hour zero (highly variable per person) followed by 3-27 grams every hour after in order to have a modest effect on the growth rate their cancer (assuming it works). A number of factors account for the low oral bioavailability including variable absorption, degradation in the stomach, significant first-pass metabolism to active and inactive metabolites in the liver and so on (PMCID: PMC2689518).

        • CharleeR

We know that the oil is only 8 – 20% bio-available when eaten, although if you take coconut oil a half hour prior, it busy’s the liver to extend that. If you were able to inject it intravenously it would be best. Many patients use it in suppository form to avoid first pass through the liver, as the liver makes it even more psychoactive. But if you are able to get it directly into the bloodstream and avoild digestion and the liver, it continues to work and is the most bio-available and works the fastest, as it continues to circulate, rather than disposing of 80% out the back door. This is why a person needs to eat 1g daily for several months to kill the cancer cells; as you don’t really need that much, but the rest is wasted through the digestive system and liver.

My girlfriend has stage 4 lung cancer is Asian which do you recommend cbd oil or Rick Simpson oil she coughs alot and has pain in ribs or lungs

    • JR

      They are the same thing.

      • Rufus Ray

no they are not, rick simpson oil, also known as rso, is a full spectrum cannabinoid oil, as it has all of them extracted in the plants own oils. even the terpenes are in rso. the cbd oil only has the cannabidiol cannabinoid in it. it is mixed with some other food grade oil, ie coconut oil or canola or rapeseed oil. i urge everyone looking in to this form of treatment to research the cannabis entourage effect and see that cannabis works best when it is a full spectrum extract, as the different constituents in cannabis play off of each other to reach their peak effectiveness. also science is showing that it is thc that actually isolates and “kills” the cancer cells and it is the cbd that helps with the neurological disorders but they work even better if both are present and even more so if more of the other cannabinoids are present. even terpenes have been shown to modulate the cannabinoids effects and change the effect or efficiency of the oil. even their ratios to each other can also play into this. science has just barely scratched the surface of this magnificent plant!

        • Jacqueline Landau

That is what my readings are leading me to believe, that CBDs alone, are not the key to treat cancer (that’s my condition), THC seems to be the most important ingredient. It’s hard to make “objective” conclusions from the amount of information that’s out there in the form of videos, testimonials and blogs, on the internet. Once I conclude that a “full spectrum” meaning ALL that’s possibly in cannabis oil is what’s best, from a therapy point of view, then it’s possible to navigate the myriad of cannabis oil offers by dispensaries. It’s a jungle, out there. Eventually, soon enough, I hope to be able to start making my own oil. But not until I know more about what’s really effective against the darn cancer cells.

          • James Peters

Selection bias can have an impressive effect in terms of PR. Let’s assume 1 million people decide to take cannabis oil to try and cure their terminal cancer. Let’s further assume (for the sake of argument) that only 0.4% of this million will experience spontaneous remission. This makes for a total of 4000 people. Now, 4000 people translates into a lot of testimonials, “cannabis oil cured my cancer” blogs, Internet comments, newspaper articles, Youtube video’s and real-life word-of-mouth, so this makes an extremely positive impression for it. But the other 99.6% died, so though you are bombarded with the stories of the 4000, you hear nothing about the 996,000 who were not cured. Of course, this is just a hypothetical example, but it gives you an idea of how the selection bias inherent in all anecdotal evidence can present a grossly distorted picture of just how effective a treatment is, if at all.

      • MARC

CBD IS CANNBIDIOL AND IT STOPS THE SPREADING OF CANCER. THC IS Tetrahydrocannabinol AND IT IS THE STUFF IN MARIJUANA THAT GETS YOU HIGH. IT ALSO REDUCES TUMOR GROWTH AND AT HIGH LEVELS WILL ERADICATE MOST CANCER COMPLETELY. YOU WILL HAVE TO KEEP TAKING IT AT LOW VOLUMES AFTER SUCCESSFULLY KILLING THE CANCER BECAUSE THE CANCER 99% OF THE TIME WILL COME BACK, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE THE GENETIC MARKER THAT BASICALLY CAUSES CANCER BY INHERITANCE FROM YOUR ANCESTORS. THIS IS AWFUL, BUT AT LEAST CANNABIS OIL CAN KEEP THAT IN CHECK. MY MOTHER IN LAW STILL USES THC OIL DAILY AND SHE HAS CHOLANGIOCARCINOMA THAT HAS NEVER YET GOTTEN HER SICK BECAUSE THE CANNABIS OIL KEEPS IT FROM SPREADING OR GROWING. SHE FEELS GREAT, SHE HAS GOTTEN TO A POINT WHERE SHE DOESN’T GET HIGH AND SHE HAS BEEN TAKING 55% THC OIL IN CAPSULES 3 TIMES PER DAY WHICH EQUALS 600 MG DAILY. SHE WAS UP TO 1000MG DAILY AND SHE SAW EVERYTHING FROM ANIMALS IN HER LIVING ROOM TO ALIENS, BUT SHE PASSED THAT AND IS FEELING WONDERFUL.. THIS IS A TRUE STORY AND I COULD POST CT SCAN RESULTS TO PROVE THIS. CANNABIS OIL WORKS GUYS, PLEASE BELIEVE, AND DON’T LET THE PAST WAR ON DRUGS PUSH IT AWAY FROM YOU IF YOU NEED HELP. CHEMO IS POISON, CANNABIS IS NOT, AND YOU CAN’T DIE FROM CANNABIS OIL, IT WILL GET YOU HIGH FOR THE FIRST 3 WEEKS TO A MONTH, THEN YOU WILL FEEL NORMAL AND GET BETTER AFTER YOU TAKE IT FOR THE FIRST 2 WEEKS.

        • Jacqueline Landau

Thank’s for sharing your precious experience, it’s helping me 🙂

      • Jacqueline Landau

JR: Why did you write they are the same?

  • CuriousCursor

I think you should share that with the doctor as well as others through different channels. The more knowledge we all share about these great effects, the more we can help each other out battle this terrible disease.

    • Jacqueline Landau

100% with you, the more with share the more we can help.

  • Dwayne Marcus

    Hello

  • Dwayne Marcus

Hello, i am dwayne marcus. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2013, at 38 years old.I had surgery, but refused chemo.Instead I used nutrition and natural therapies to heal myself.i was able to contact a very special man, dr clark thomson he gave me the help with cannabis oil By the grace of God, I’m alive and kicking, and cancer-free!

    • Macy

Do you know what ratio the oil was CBD:THC?

      • MARC

250 MG THC PER DOSE FOR 3RD AND 4TH STAGE, AND 125 MGT CBD FOR BEDTIME IS A GOOD NUMBER TO TRY FOR 3 MONTHS TO KILL THE CANCER. START UP AT 5 MG OF THC AND KEEP UNCREASING DAILY UNTIL YOU GET USED TO IT. THIS GENERALLY TAKES ONE MONTH, THEN DO THE 250MG 4 TIMES DAILY. 5AM, 11 AM, 4 PM , 9 PM BUT AT 9 ALSO TAKE 125 MG OF 99.9% PURE CBD CRYSTALS

        • Jacqueline Landau

I came up somewhere with ” 1/1 6% THC 6% CBD” — I’m still researching the interpretation of these figures…

    • Marc Belanger

GOOD FOR YOU, AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU. I HOPE YOU REMAIN CANCER FREE AND HOPE YOU ARE USING LOW LEVELS OF CANNABIS OIL TO KEEP IT AWAY. ALL OF US DESERVE TO LIVE AND CANNABIS IS ONE WAY THAT WILL ALLOW US TO LIVE AND GET BY. WE BELIEVE IN THIS AND HOPE THE SAME FOR MY MOTHER IN LAW. HER CANCER TUMORS HAVE REDUCED IN SIZE AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS THE CANNABIS, THEY ALL THINK IT IS THE CHEMO WHICH THE CHOLANGIOCARCINOMA IS RESISTANT TO.

      • Jacqueline Landau

Marc Bélanger, you have a rather “french” name, are you perhaps in Canada or Province of Quebec?

    • Jacqueline Landau

Wow! Thank you for your testimony! You’re encouraging me to continue on this path.

  • Dwayne Marcus

    This is good.

  • Greg Carley

thanks for this info. i have been looking for the ratio of cbd to thc. !! hugs and love

  • Sherron Sinclair Tullos

My daddy has lung cancer he been taking chemo since Aug of last yr doctors a now trying a new chemo treatment on him called Gemzar It’s really taking a major toll on him he has no appetite and very weak. He lives in GA I’ve looked into CDB oil at the very beginning of him being diagnosed everywhere I have looked the cost is outrageous 2,500.00 for I tube. I can not afford it.

    • Jacqueline Landau

You might consider getting into “making the oil” yourself? Here, locally, prices are well below 100$ canadian for a small bottle (can’t remember the quantity).

      • Sherron Sinclair Tullos

Jaqueline Landau’s thank you. For responding but I am sorry to say my daddy passed away on may 14th 2016. But it is a thought that I could make my own oils to help others in his memory. Much love to you and again thank you

  • PolishMama2008

We have been trying to save our mom with Rick Simpson cannabis oil and CBD Extracts for over a month now. It seems to not have any positive effects. I know the content of a CBD is very important. Can you please guide me as to what type she would need for her Stage4 Gallbladder Cancer that has matastisided to her abdominal muscles & lymph nodes?
Thank you so much for your help.

    • Greg Carley

hi , I hope this finds you and your mom well. I am not expert but I have been doing a lot of research. hemp oil is only one component of curing cancer. the other two are….avoiding toxins (cars, air fresheners, deodorant, lotions, pesticides etc etc) and to feed you body (lots and lots of fruits and vegetables, juicing…go raw as much as possible). hugs and love

      • Aggie

Thank you Greg for the input. We have tried different natural approaches for 14 months, but unfortunately the disease was stronger than our hopes & efforts.
Our mama passed 2 weeks ago :'(
I still do believe the oils help others and I pray that they win their battles.

        • Jacqueline Landau

Thank’s for reporting. I read that Rick Simpson now recognizes that the oil has only a 70% success rate.

          • James Peters

Prof. Gorski rightly states: ”Rick Simpson is just like cancer quacks the world over, who have no firm evidence to back up their miraculous-sounding cure rates and excuse their failures by claiming that the treatment patients had before prevented the quackery from working. Quacks like Rick Simpson do those who think that cannabinoids have promise in treating cancer no favors.”

    • CharleeR

THC is the main cancer killer. CBD content is unimportant for that. It is a helper to the THC and helps stop the spread, but THC is the main cancer killer. You can use a 1:1 ratio of THC:CBD, but that will merely help mitigate the high feeling. You will need to eat 1g of high THC Cannabis Oil daily for several months to kill the cancer. You can do it without CBD at all. So, I don’t know where you got your information from, but I am sorry to tell you that it was wrong and that is why you are not experiencing a cure…..yet. Keep going, but get the right Oil this time. GOOD LUCK!

  • Harry

Would CBD alone help late stage cancer? Or does it have to contain THC ? Please e-mail me

    • Adriana Elbaunm

Dr. Sircus’s protocol (which includes the use of oral and transdermal use of CBD, sodium bicarbonate and other natural substances as magnesium chloride and iodine) is recommended for cancer patients at any stage. It has been our experience that this treatment is helpful in late stage patients – improving patient’s life quality, diminishing pain and enhancing vitality. We find it is an appropriate treatment for Hospice and Palliative Care and certainly should be used heavily for pediatric cases.
In truth most people turn to us for long distance help after it is too late, after radiation and chemotherapy has disrupted and destroyed many health parameters. Radiation is the death principle itself and is used extensively in diagnosis and treatment of cancer and chemotherapy poisons cell physiology, which is already compromised from long years of heavy metal and other toxic chemical exposure.
Even in these cases though we have seen dramatic turnarounds giving patients a chance for a last leg of life for themselves and their families and we have received much thanks and appreciation even when the patient’s life is not saved.
Dr. Sircus is famous for his tender and caring ways and used to even do therapy online years ago. If you elect to have him by your side to meet the challenges you are facing you will find his big heart supporting you through it all.

we are not talking about smoking it. We are talking about ingesting it by form of liquid, gel caps, mouth spray or oil. Yes smoking it would likely produce lung cancer but not for everyone.

    • MsJustice

In Canada it has been legalized – link below

      • JR

Cannabis is not yet legal in Canada. We are working on new laws.

        • Jacqueline Landau

Legislation could come up in parliement by summer 2017, I was reading yesterday on the CBC web site, through an article on Manitoba employers association, having to come to terms with employees might come in to work “stoned”…

    • Lifer

Smoking cannabis does not cause lung cancer

      • Jacqueline Landau

My thoughts exactly, how could smoking marijuana induce lung cancer? It would have to carry the same trash toxins such as tar and nicotin and a whole slew or other garbage as tobacco? I’m no doctor…

  • futureisendless

what is the hemp oil for pancreatic cancer…we will find out the level or stage this week.

  • Marie Mason

Why are you lying to America, all lies my best friends mother smoked marijuana all her life since 15, she got cancer in her 40’s, she smoked every day of her life, after she went into remission once, the cancer came back again, and no matter how much marijuana she ate and smoked and how much oil she consumed the cancer never reduced was,was never cured nothing, same with my Grandma and my other friends aunt and grandmother, they all used marijuana so your study is bullshit they all died their gone dead, and marijuana didn’t cure them! Lies

    • Terri

First, I’m sorry to hear about your loved ones. The issue is that it’s the content of CBD in the cannibus that makes the difference. Just smoking or ingesting pot isn’t the same. That can help with pain or side effects of chemo depending on the THC content. There are two major by products CBD and THC. Reseach CBD and Cancer.

    • Steven Oyinlola

Smoking doesn’t give cancer. It’s the guilt of doing it that gives cancer.Cancer is mainly give to a person through emotions and depression or emotional problems etc…

    • Craig Murray

Are you stupid or what? It’s not getting high by smoking weed that cures things like cancer.

    • Greg Carley

terri is right, hemp and marijuana are both cannibis plants . they are cousins. hemp is high in CBD (cancer aid ) and low in THC (what gets you high). Pot or Marijuana is high in THC and low in CBD. pot is grown indoors for more direct plant control. hemp is grown outdoors so it grows tall and produces large quantities on itself. they make clothes , paper , plastics and lots more out of hemp (not pot /marijuana). Weird thing is….cannabis (hemp and pot) are both illegal. in most parts of America. luckily i live in vancouver canada where it’s legal and i can take for my cancer or smoke a joint (which is healthier for my body than drinking). cheers

I have a brother who was suffered from liver cancer, after undergoing chemotherapy he was recovering, but after a few months, he was diagnosed with brain cancer. After knowing about the “cannabis cures cancer” I was intrigued by this article. But I live in a country that prohibits cannabis. Where can I get cannabis oil or can I use to extract a dried cannabis leaves as they are sold in the black market ? Is it possible to ship out the cannabis oil to my country? Lastly, i am confusing between cannabis and marijuana, is it same thing?

    • Greg Carley

i was confused too. here is info. hemp and marijuana are both cannibis plants . they are cousins. hemp is high in CBD (cancer aid ) and low in THC (what gets you high). HI EEE, Cannabis and Marijuana are both the same. Cannabis/Marijuana Oil or Paste has cured many cancers permanently. There are hundreds of articles on the web, and you can search and find on YouTube. It is very easy to make Cannabis paste, and you need to have few ounces of Cannabis flower/bud to make it. Google about how to make Cannabis paste. All the best!
