No matter what I say, it is not going to make a dent in the lockstep of denial that exists around the horror of the nuclear industry and Fukushima. What is happening in northern Japan and the radiation contamination in the United States and Europe, which has rained down since March 11th of 2011, is staggering and beyond most peoples’ capacity to comprehend.

The Journal Environmental Science and Technology reports in a new study that the Fukushima radiation plume contacted North America at California “with greatest exposure in central and southern California,” and that Southern California’s seaweed tested over 500% higher for radioactive iodine-131 than anywhere else in the U.S. and Canada.

Everyone knows nowadays that nuclear plants are not really safe—even if a few noisy die-hards continue to argue that radiation from nuke plants is harmless.
The Guardian

Those who have spent billions building underground shelters are stupid for they are remaining above ground allowing themselves and their children to become contaminated with radioactive particles including plutonium. The rest of us have no choices though we should be planning to board starships and take off for some pristine destination. The closest I found to this is living in a valley in the middle of the South American continent. It is my hope that only ten percent of the radiation coming from Fukushima will reach deep into the southern hemisphere but ten percent is still too much when I look forward to my children’s lives hopefully enduring for many years to come.

Time is running out for the 35 million people in the Tokyo metropolitan area though and in fact, in a year or two all of northern Japan might become quite uninhabitable. Radiation levels are creeping up and it is sad.

In reality Fukushima is anything but stable with the biggest issue being the spent nuclear fuel pool of the No. 4 reactor. The storage pool in the No. 4 reactor building has a total of 1,535 fuel rods, or 460 tons of nuclear fuel, in it. The seven-story building itself has suffered great damage, with the storage pool barely intact on the building’s third and fourth floors. The roof has been blown away. If the storage pool breaks and runs dry, the nuclear fuel inside will overheat and explode, causing a massive amount of radioactive substances to spread over a wide area. Both the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and French nuclear energy company Areva have warned about this risk.

The worst-case scenario drawn up by the government includes not only the collapse of the No. 4 reactor pool, but also the disintegration of spent fuel rods from all the plant’s other reactors. If this were to happen, residents in the Tokyo metropolitan area would be forced to evacuate.

Governments Are Failing Us Everywhere

David Galland of Casey Research said, “No matter how outrageous the misdeeds of the world’s governments, or how heated up I might get about those misdeeds, they have become so commonplace that the average dear reader today almost certainly views a discourse on these outrages with roughly the same level of concern as a discussion about the weather. The ability for critical thinking has been washed out of most people by a numbing shower of government propaganda, state education and media misdirection. The result is that the vast majority of people no longer bother thinking any more deeply about the very real issues confronting them than they might in deciding whether to have sprinkles on their ice cream. Worse than that, they don’t even understand the concept of thinking critically, let alone its importance.”

In Tokyo one can go out for some ice cream and be treated to radiation contamination. It is as if a nuclear war has been fought there but this time it’s hundreds of millions of people, if not billions, who will be affected. I would not like to be the one who plots out the worst path of the radiation plumes that have circled the northern hemisphere. The picture is ugly and getting uglier by the month as radiation continues to spread and as the situation in the nuclear reactors at Fukushima continue to deteriorate.

Jeff Steele of Naval Reactors wrote, “The nuclear accident in Japan has resulted in widespread deposition of radioactive contamination throughout the northern part of Japan, including the metropolitan Tokyo area. Surface contamination levels in this entire region would be required to be posted as radiological area if they were at a U.S. licensed facility or DOE site.”

“Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.”                                                                 Friedrich Nietzsche

People in general are mentally ensnared by decades of indoctrination from propagandists in government and on Wall Street, spoon-fed to them by the corporate mainstream media. People are mentally incapable of accepting the facts about an impending economic collapse and they are even less capable of accepting what the nuclear industry has done to the world. We have made a terrible and tragic mistake with implications for our race and its civilization.

John Rubino wrote,“For a couple of years now it’s been clear that the world was about to fall apart, with the only question being which local failure turns out to be the catalyst for a systemic breakdown. So many things were on the verge of blowing up… yet none of them did. The world’s governments have engaged in a heroic period of ‘extend and pretend’ that has kept the system together longer than seemed possible.”

Just about everyone today is playing this extend and pretend game and this goes for the nuclear industry that does not want to pay any attention to the planet-destroying nature of its industry. We find out too late that we do not need a nuclear world war after all to destroy ourselves. The fact that most nuclear plants are built on or near fault lines or tsunami-vulnerable areas tells us that worldwide, the nuclear industry is just an accident waiting to happen.

And wouldn’t you know our luck. Just a few decades after most of the nuclear plants have been built we find ourselves suddenly in an era of increased seismic and volcanic activity. The ground is shaking and most of our world’s nuclear plants are vulnerable.

Bad News

The news is extremely bad from the stricken Fukushima nuclear site in Japan, where a probe of the only one of the three destroyed reactors where access is possible revealed still-deadly levels of radiation. Detectors in reactor No. 2 showed damage so severe that special technology will need to be developed just to survive the harsh environment. Cleaning up is going to take decades. Water levels inside the containment vessel that houses the radioactive core were also found to be way too low, despite continual pumping, although the water temperature indicates the fuel has been cooled.

Detected radiation levels of 70 seiverts an hour will kill a human after seven minutes of exposure, and these levels are 10 times higher than experts had been hoping for. Levels are even higher in reactors No. 1 and No. 3.

Post-Fukushima Japan may be approaching an energy death spiral, says Nobuo Tanaka, past executive director of the International Energy Agency.

Description: Iwaki-City-Plutonium-200-Times-Goverment-Numbers.png

A Japanese professor has detected all three isotopes of Plutonium at levels 200 times higher than Japan admits over 50 kilometers south of the Fukushima nuclear plant.

It is not getting better and is in fact getting worse. Radiation dose tripled at a Tokyo monitoring post recently and doubled at another.

The Plutonium Angel of Death

Plutonium represents certain death; it is death, concentrated in nuclear form. Riders of death come swooping down from the upper air currents on plutonium steeds and just one tiny particle of it has a deadly effect if it touches down anywhere inside of a human or a beast.

The very last thing the elite controllers of the world want us to know is that nuclear super particles (plutonium) are scattering around the world like Hun Hordes. We have this going on already with mercury and other heavy metals and chemicals; now the toxic soup on our planet is going nuclear in a big way and it will continue that way into an increasingly toxic and frightening future.

Of the three damaged reactors at Fukushima, only reactor No. 3 has plutonium in its fresh fuel, but all the reactors contain plutonium. All of the spent fuel rods kept in the storage pools at each reactor contain plutonium. In the Fukushima reactors, plutonium-239 is a byproduct of nuclear fission and occurs when uranium-238 in the fuel absorbs neutrons. Fukushima has enough plutonium to kill every man, woman and child on our planet if it all gets out.

“A sample of plutonium-239 giving off one curie of radiation per hour will give off about 99.999…% as much radiation tomorrow, or next year. But a sample of iodine-131 giving off the same amount of radiation today, will give off half as much radiation in just eight days, and half as much as that—a quarter curie per hour—eight days after that. In a few months it will be gone completely,” writes Ace Hoffman, who tries to educate about the various radiation terminology on his site.

Is the Japanese government continuing to lie about the extent of radiation pollution during the Fukushima disaster? Absolutely! The same can be said about the U.S. and all other governments who are all in cahoots with each other as they continue to baffle the human sheep in their domains. One world government is seen in the medical as well as nuclear industries. The lies about vaccines and those about the safety of nuclear plants are worldwide acts of public disinformation.

Planet earth is not such a nice place to live anymore though there are still havens of sanity and even some places we could still call pristine. I published my book Nuclear Toxicity Syndrome and the second edition of my Iodine book in the months after Fukushima. Fortunately the more educated and more open-minded people these days are learning how to defend their bodies against radiation damage with a list of natural but powerful substances like magnesium chloride, iodine, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), clay and cannabis resins.

We nuked Japan in 1945 – Now Japan is nuking the world. The stupidest thing mankind has ever done is burn these death metals for world fuel. Nature does not work this way. She implodes sunlight to create her multitudinous forms. Walter and Lao Russell wrote the book called “Atomic Suicide?” in 1957 and sent it to every prominent leader in the world, including scientists and nuke industry officials. It went unheeded. See the vid link below for some excerpts from the book. Excellent article Dr. Sircus. This issue is the greatest enemy staring humanity in the face and every soldier and scientist in the world should be working day and night trying to put out this disaster!

I’m a realist. Ok were in trouble. Lets figure out how radiation is falling on a monthly bases and go from there. We know what the main components of radiation are and what they can do to us, so let’s stop talking about it and start finding out ways to monitor the radiaton levels in Central and Southern Calif. and know how they are changing for the worse on a monthly basis, and then press of the use of transdermal magnesium, sodium bicarb., iodine, clay, all these are detoxifiers and are really our only hope unless you can afford to be neighbors with Dr. Mark in Central Brazil, which would be the coolest thing that could happen to anyone. The reality for 99.99999% of us is to know what we’re dealing with as far as radiation amounts. Dr. Mark recently put out a newsletter with a ton of factual measurements of the radiation that has escaped and is falling on the West Coast of the US, were I live in the Seattle area, where as Dr. Mark put it, sensitive people will notice it first, and some people I know have itchy hives and skin erruptions that in their 65 years of age have never had anything like it. They know somthing is trying to escape the body. The itchy part of the dark red patches are what gets me as my Dad got cancer at 50 and detoxed at Hippocrates Institute when it was in San Diege, with colonics and chlorophyll and while gaining his weight back and still taking chlorophyll, the strongest detoxifier known to man in my opionion, had dark purple very itchy patches come out of his body in large patches and when testes found traces of the chemical he used in dalic plating the Nike Missile nose cone 20 years before and hiding in his fat cells. My dad lived another 35 years after he detoxed his body of the serious heavy metals. He used to come home with acid burns on his hands when I was 12 years old and went through his detox. One can without to much persuassion do the association, with what my friends are now experiencing and the very possible corraltation of the radiation falling from Fukushima. So again lets get some air samples from people who have the ability to gain access to these monitiors for our atmosphere and let us know how bad the radiation is falling so we can make some decisions. We need concise monthly monitoring by some corraegous people and if it’s as bad as Dr. Mark says it is, we will have the proof for people to start detoxind these very toxic metals out of the body, by the means of the people, who know all about how to detox the body. It is a very old way of healing and you can’t even find the word detox in Google.

Plutonium isn’t created by neutron absorption. It’s created by proton absorption.

    Excellent and ACCURATE.

After Chernobyl there are TEN MILLION missing people in this country. Dead or not born as expected.

Atomic Energy Authorities and / or World Health Organisation give deaths from Chernobyl varying from 2 dead to fifty dead.

A cataclysmic under statement of HARM.

French TV last night reported the situation in the aging nuclear power stations here.

No longer new, for the most part run by fewer and fewer people NOT part of the nuclear industry but basically paid almost MINIMUM wages to endure high exposures to RADIATION cleaning up the leaks, losses and holes in the rotting pipework.

Many contracting cancers of different types and being fobbed off as not caused by radiation.

Even for me following the nuclear industry for more than 50 years I WAS SHOCKED.

You could almost tell of the harm done when all those workers seemed oddly to have lop sided facial expressions. Is this just coincidence or what.

There is one very good source of SAFE nuclear energy for MAN and its not man made but a CADEAUX and its been working a million times longer with no problems as yet.

It also provides more energy than anyone needs.

    • Teri

John, could you say more about what a CADEAUX is?

  • David

    DR Mark,

People do not realize this risk to their life yet. When it gets worse, maybe. Keep letting us know the truth.

    • back40,I’m all for nuclear in inaerplanettry space. Far from any gravitational well. i.e. for inaerplanettry transportation. I even like it for military ships on earth. As to wind being ugly – in the eye of the beholder. On the way from my father’s funeral in Oct of 2001 I saw a really pretty windmill on Highway 80 in Iowa. Stopped and turned around to get a better view and watch it for a while. Poetry in motion. The really big jobs >1 MW(peak) like the Iowa mill I saw are not significant bird killers. Tall buildings are worse.Right now wind is cheaper than gas turbine electricity and helps to keep the cost of natural gas down. Storage is not a problem until wind represents >20% of grid power. We are no where near that. Plus I have some storage ideas. I don’t see why wind being immobile is a problem for grid use. Every technology has its place.Solar will alter microclimates. In fact a honkin nukeplant will alter microclimates. In fact breathing alters micro climates. A camp fire alters microclimates. I suppose we could all live in space. If you have a rocket I’m ready to travel.America could go 100% wind with energy left over if there was a suitable storage mechanism. And a lot of transmission from ND and SD to the other states.Contact me if you have $$$$. I have ideas. Did I mention I’m a former Naval Nuke and currently an aerospace electrical generation engineer?I have the extreme good fortune to have had in my hot little had in 1962 one of the first commercial (such as it was) solar cells. I have been interested in power and control my whole life. Well at least 50+ years of it.I have the good fortune to be well versed in all types of energy generation from an engineering stand point. Nukes, jet engines, boilers for steam, wind, biomass, fuel cells, etc. etc. etc.BTW I’m against nuclear power because the total amount of fuel is limited and then there is the problem of plutonium in the hands of crazies.
