Dealing with death is not anyone’s favorite topic yet death is the only certainty of life. We all know we’re going to die sooner or later; we just don’t quite believe it. Everyone dies but few people embrace death as a friend to be welcomed. Unless we are suicidal, which more of us are then ever before, we avoid death when it draws near and when it comes, we do not do a good job dealing with it.
Our culture denies death so much that we become blind to what potentially kills and maims us. Therefore, we allow our leaders to risk everyone’s life in front of our faces and we do not see. People do nothing and let their leaders get away with murder and even the potential destruction of our race through nuclear war.
Across a broad swath of activities, vaccines, nuclear power, antibiotics, pesticides, preservatives, cancer causing treatments and tests for cancer, food additives etc., we see a dark side that invites death and suffering. Moreover, in the United States we see too many people read to vote for leaders who show conclusively that they are violent and all to ready for war.
For anyone who does not believe the United States government and the leaders of Europe are not playing Russian Roulette with our lives listen to Russian President Vladimir Putin warn Romania and Poland they could find themselves in the sights of Russian rockets because they are hosting elements of a U.S. missile shield that Moscow considers a threat to its security.
“We, the undersigned, are Russians living and working in the USA. We have been watching with increasing anxiety as the current US and NATO policies have set us on an extremely dangerous collision course with the Russian Federation, as well as with China. Many respected, patriotic Americans, such as Paul Craig Roberts, Stephen Cohen, Philip Giraldi, Ray McGovern and many others have been issuing warnings of a looming a Third World War.” The world is at war already and cities are being destroyed in Syria and other places in the Middle and Far East.
The Nation writes, “For the first time in a quarter-century, the prospect of war—real war, war between the major powers—will be on the agenda of Western leaders when they meet at the NATO Summit in Warsaw, Poland, on July 8 and 9. Dominating the agenda in Warsaw will be discussion of plans to reinforce NATO’s “eastern flank”—the arc of former Soviet partners stretching from the Baltic states to the Black Sea that are now allied with the West but fear military assault by Moscow. Until recently, the prospect of such an attack was given little credence in strategic circles, but now many in NATO believe a major war is possible and that robust defensive measures are required. By preparing for war, Washington and NATO are setting in motion forces that could achieve precisely that outcome.”
NATO leaders agreed on July 8 to deploy military forces to the Baltic states and eastern Poland while increasing air and sea patrols to demonstrate readiness to defend eastern members against the alleged ‘Russian aggression.’ Mikhail Gorbachev reportedly said after the summit that the decisions made at NATO summit in Warsaw should be regarded as a preparation for a hot war with Russia. Former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev declared in an interview with radio station Echo Moskvy that if the crisis escalates to another war, this war will be the last.
Female War Candidate
The Law is the Law, Unless You’re an Elite. “The title says it all. The law is supposed to be the law. We as everyday citizens are told to live our lives by these laws, to operate within them, and if we step outside of these boundaries created for us, then there will be consequences. Well, that’s how we live – but not the elite.”
A majority of Americans disapprove of the FBI’s recommendation not to charge Hillary Clinton with a crime over her handling of email while secretary of state, and a similar number in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll say the issue leaves them worried about how she would handle her responsibilities as president if elected.
Zero Hedge writes, “The kinds of activities she was hiding are far more criminal than the fact that she hid them. As Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton played a key role in bringing war to such places as Libya, Syria, and Honduras, and in escalating the war in Afghanistan. She is complicit in causing untold death and misery. Yet, thanks to her connections and her position in the state power apparatus, she faces no consequences for her crimes, and is free to acquire even more immunity and power as a likely President of the United States.”
Wishing War Was the Only Threat
When talking about death we have to factor in that even people who are supposedly dedicated to helping and saving us from death are killing more people than anyone else! Doctors kill more people than anyone else, they are slaughtering us and getting away with it.
“Even the best case scenarios involve a lot of death,” writes Josiah Neufeld in a poignant essay entitled, ‘Preparing for a Beautiful End,’ Many of us have become convinced that our species has wrecked its natural habitat beyond repair. It does seem that “human civilization is entering the first stages of a collapse from which no valiant activism, alternative energy, or utopian technology can ultimately save it.”
Speaking about Fukushima, we read these haunting words from Stefan Stanford, “Woefully uncomprehending of the probability that it all ends here all too soon, for our children and their children, if we do nothing. And there may be nothing we can do.” We live in a world where common sense and reasonable discourse are breaking down. Conflict is increasing across the board, no one is immune meaning everyone is vulnerable.
If one has the courage to look, one can see that the Apocalypse (Time of Death and Destruction) has already started, but it is just in the early innings. It has come to some places but will eventually spread around the world like a plague. Not just in a radiation sense but in many senses.
Venezuela has gone from bad to catastrophe setting the tone for what is possible in a civilized world as it unravels. The world is becoming a more dangerous place and there are now just 10 countries that can be considered completely free from conflict, according to authors of the 10th annual Global Peace Index.
The apocalypse is spreading to other countries around the world that are already coming apart at the seams. Greece, the Ukraine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and many other countries in Africa with Portugal, Spain and Italy next on the chopping block.
“It is difficult for the vast majority of people to comprehend the likely chaos, pain, bloodshed and war which will overspread the nation and the world. The days of delusion, denial and debt are going to revert to dismay, depression and death,” writes The Burning Platform. David Haggith writes, “You cannot stop this collapse, nor can you talk it into happening with negativity either. It is going to happen because it has to happen. It has inevitability all over it. Economic structures that should never have been created in the first place are giving way in what will become total structural failure.”
When we calculate looming food shortages, price increases, pension failures, radically changing climate (to the cold and extreme side), impending financial and economic collapse coupled with increasing government oppression, worldwide pollution and toxic poisoning of populations, increasing radiation we end up with some rightfully angry people. These people are voting, as we saw in England, against the establishment. The right is rising in Europe because their pathetic leaders cannot even acknowledge the rape epidemic of their women by Muslim refugees and in the states Donald Trump is having a field day because Americans are angry about everything.
Charles Hugh Smith writes, “Why are people around the world angry? It’s obvious to everyone in the unprivileged classes and a mystery to the "we’re doing just fine here, what’s your problem?" privileged classes: The system is rigged to benefit the protected few and marginalize the unprotected many. The grievances of Chinese workers robbed of their wages, Greek small-business owners burdened by ever-rising taxes, downsized corporate warriors in the U.S., etc. may appear to be different, but beneath the surface these grievances all arise from one source: unearned privileges that benefit the few at the expense of the many.” Humanity will pay a steep price for what we have allowed to go on in our civilization.
