We desperately need a new approach to medicine, and it seems like hydrogen, the building block of the universe, can spearhead the way forward. Oncologists and their patients should be especially interested because it appears to be a super weapon against cancer. Though I am the primary mover and shaker of Hydrogen Medicine with my book published almost four years ago, recent information, one from a brain cancer patient I wrote about on January 2nd and the case history presented below, has moved the goalposts in terms of hope for very late-stage cancer patients and thus for all cancer patients.
The impossible now seems possible if enough hydrogen gas is pumped into a patient. It’s not just hydrogen pumped in, but oxygen in a unique combination called Brown’s gas, which is 66% hydrogen and 33% oxygen. It has always been my view; indeed, the Chinese and Japanese doctors know that this gas mixture can blow people away from death’s door in ICU. However, now we are getting a solid view of what cancer patients can expect when using between 3 and 6 hours a day and, even more dramatically, for brain cancer patients when used almost around the clock.
In 2019 the National Library of Medicine (NIH) published a phenomenal cancer recovery story of a patient with extremely late-stage Metastatic gallbladder cancer. Medical scientists presented the case of a 72-year-old female patient with gallbladder cancer (GBC) who had developed further metastases in the lymph nodes around the head of the pancreas. The patient had severe anemia, requiring weekly blood transfusions. In addition, the gallbladder tumor invaded the descending part of the duodenum, causing intestinal leakage and hepatic colonic adhesion.
Usually, there would be no hope for such a patient, and adding toxic chemotherapy and radiation would hasten a nasty end. Instead, the patient intelligently refused these standard treatments and began daily hydrogen inhalation therapy. After one month of treatment, the gallbladder and liver tumors continued progressing, and intestinal obstruction occurred. After continuous hydrogen therapy and symptomatic treatments, including gastrointestinal decompression and intravenous nutrition support, the intestinal obstruction was gradually relieved.
Three months after hydrogen therapy, the metastases in the abdominal cavity gradually reduced in size, her anemia and hypoalbuminemia were corrected, lymphocyte and tumor marker levels returned to normal, and the patient was able to resume a normal life. The hydrogen-oxygen gas generated consisted of 67% hydrogen and 33% oxygen. The patient continued to inhale hydrogen for 3-6 hours a day, with no interruption, even after the apparent relief of symptoms. We recently saw the tremendous healing power of hydrogen for brain cancer patients who inhaled this same gas for up to 17 hours a day.
Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is the sixth-highest cause of cancer-related deaths in China. Due to the high incidence of lymph nodes or distant metastasis, the 5-year overall survival (OS) rate for GBC is only 5%. The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) says there are currently few alternative options, and new and more effective methods are urgently required.
Treating cancer with hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide is an approach that treats the fundamental reasons cancer cells form and get aggressive in the first place. Cancer should be treated not like a genetic disease it is not, and more like a metabolic disease, it is.
Inhaling hydrogen gas (with oxygen included) with a hydrogen inhalation device, from a cell’s point of view, is like standing under a waterfall that invigorates even as it cools. Hydrogen will help anyone stay alive longer, no matter what their situation.
Hydrogen is Serious Medicine for Cancer
It is hard to lose with hydrogen, not like you can with chemo and radiation therapies. H2 inhibits cell viability, migration, and invasion and catalyzes cell apoptosis. Hydrogen helps us fight cancer directly, minimizing its spread. The most recent research out of China suggests that molecular hydrogen may exert an anti-tumor role in ovarian cancer.
Other studies from China suggest that Hydrogen and oxygen inhalation can inhibit cancer cell growth, migration, and invasion and catalyze cell apoptosis. H2 induced A549 and H1975 to stay in the G2/M phase of the cell cycle; in addition, H2 down-regulated the expression of NIBPL. SMC3 and SM6. All data show that H2 can inhibit the progression of lung cancer and down-regulate SMe.
Inhalation of H2 can inhibit the growth of non-small cell lung cancer, and its mechanism is related to inhibiting the expression of Ki-67, Cox2, and VEGF.
In 1975, an impressive study demonstrated that hyperbaric molecular hydrogen therapy could be a cancer treatment. In this study, the researchers showed that exposing mice with skin cancer (tumors) to 2.5 percent oxygen (O2) and 97.5 hydrogen (H2) for two weeks produced a dramatic and significant regression of the mice tumors. A similar effect of hyperbaric hydrogen on leukemia was reported in 1978.
Hydrogen Medicine is revolutionary, and it holds the potential to save lives, reduce suffering and make one beautiful and young again through its anti-aging effects. A hydrogen and oxygen gas machine is probably the first piece of medical equipment to which one should allocate one’s financial resources, for it offers a fundamental treatment for almost all disease conditions. However, it is not a cure-all and should be used in a complete protocol, with particular attention paid to increasing CO2 levels through sodium and potassium bicarbonates and slow breathing.
