Hydrogen – The Future of Energy and Medicine

Hydrogen is the lightest and most abundant element in the universe, and it is the key to fulfilling the world’s growing energy needs while fighting pollution. Hydrogen is the up-and-coming alternative form of energy and holds promise in part because the main byproduct of hydrogen energy production is water.

Hydrogen will save the world by offering pollution-free energy, and it can save our lives if we are near death’s door because it is an astounding medicine. Hydrogen has a big role to play in the future of medicine. It is the century’s greatest medical discovery, but you will not hear anything about it from the medical-industrial complex.

Everything loves and needs hydrogen; even the deepest darkness of space is full of it. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, so there’s no possibility of it running out. When our bodies become acidic (low oxygen and cell voltage conditions), we end up with a harmful ionic form of hydrogen that crowds out oxygen. Elon Musk thinks hydrogen is silly, and that should be the end of the story, but I do not believe any of the stars in our vast universe feel the same. But when a billionaire says something, it must be true. Just look at all the rubbish that comes out of Bill Gates’s mouth. People in and out of government foam at the mouth over his gospel of truth on CO2, climate change, and vaccines. He misses the fact that all life on earth depends on CO2, and our cells and our atmosphere would have no oxygen without it.

Musk can build his batteries and electric cars to the end of time, but hydrogen is the fuel of existence and will be for eternity. Many believe that hydrogen has a role in industrial processes and powering heavy-duty vehicles, including ocean-going ships and aircraft.

The Toyota car company is fully invested in hydrogen. Countries like China are investing heavily in a hydrogen future. Rep. Greg Pence, R-Indiana, has recently introduced legislation to spur innovation in hydrogen energy projects in the United States. Pence introduced the measure, called the "Clean Energy Hydrogen Innovation Act," in the House this month.

Hydrogen is already a success. Ballard PEM fuel cell technology with the 8th generation power module launched in 2019 – has provided zero-emission power for vehicle propulsion of more than 3,400 fuel cell electric buses and commercial trucks. The Company’s proton exchange membrane (PEM) has powered a cumulative total of more than 75 million kilometers on roads worldwide. That is enough to circle the globe 1870 times. Musk does not seem to care about the zero-emissions aspect of hydrogen energy.

Where does Musk think his cars are going to get charged with windmill power? In Texas, during their recent electrical crisis, it cost 900 dollars to charge an electric vehicle. Green hydrogen is an essential part of the global transition to a more affordable, sustainable form of energy and must remain a key pillar in the energy mix. Musk should know that electric vehicles can’t fight climate change the way hydrogen cars can.
