Though it is still early to make predictions, if the coronavirus epidemic explodes in a place outside China the entire world will freak. Already Singapore’s prime minister is urging citizens to stay calm following a wave of panic buying that emptied many supermarket shelves of essential goods after the government raised the risk alert level over the new virus. Pictures on social media showed people flocking to buy toilet paper, canned food and instant noodles from supermarkets.
Across mainland China there were 3,399 new confirmed infections in a twenty four hours period (7th of February). China reported an additional 89 deaths on Sunday, bringing the total number of deaths in the mainland to 811. Chris Martenson is doing a good job of covering what is happening. As of today the total number of confirmed coronavirus 2019-nCoV cases across the world is 40,561 and now 910 deaths have been reported
Below is a reasonably accurate picture of what the mainstream media, is putting out piecemeal, in a storm of daily essays. We read online many different points of view, including complaints of fake news but no one knows which is the fake and what is the truth.
We should remember, as we go through this threatening ordeal, that the human intervention aspect of this crisis might be more threatening than the virus itself. Remember at least 95 percent of people survive it! Cancer patients should be so lucky.
The Guardian has reported that, “Authorities in Wuhan city have started going door to door checking temperatures, and rounding up suspected coronavirus patients for forcible quarantine in stadiums and exhibition centres that are serving as warehouses for the sick, the New York Times reported. The city and country face “wartime conditions”, the paper quoted vice-premier Sun Chunlan, who has been put in charge of the national campaign against the virus, as saying on a visit to Wuhan. She said: “There must be no deserters, or they will be nailed to the pillar of historical shame forever.”
“Increasingly desperate officials in the quarantined epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak have tightened controls on an already frightened population, likening the growing crisis to “wartime conditions.” There have been thousands of cases in other parts of China where increasing numbers of cities, towns and even remote villages are locking themselves down.” People trapped aboard cruise ships are starting to freak out feeling, as they are, trapped on floating prisons.
At a Chinese-run hospital in Zambia, some employees watched as people who recently returned from China showed up with coughs but were not placed in isolation. A doctor tending to those patients has stopped coming to work, and health workers have been ordered not to speak publicly about the new virus that has killed hundreds around the world.
Important Disease Progression Information
The death rate in Wuhan was 4.1%, the New York Times reported, far higher than the 2.8% across Hubei province, and the national rate of about 2%. Some patients who at first appeared mildly or moderately ill then took a turn for the worse several days or even a week into their illness. The median time from their first symptoms to when they became short of breath was five days; to hospitalization, seven days; and to severe breathing trouble, eight days. Experts say that pattern means patients must be carefully monitored, and it is not safe to assume that someone who seems to be doing well early on is out of the woods.
ICU and emergency type treatments can be started at home from the beginning of infection but must be intensified if symptoms follow the above progression. Safe natural substances used by the best doctors can alleviate symptoms and the threat of deadly complications.
It seems like our collective fate will be decided over the next few weeks. The virus will either level out and then diminish or its just getting started so what we see for hundreds of millions in China we will see everywhere.
Interesting enough the powers that be got together to discuss a Coronavirus Pandemic in October 2019; the UN, WHO, the big banks, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Health experts issued an ominous warning about a coronavirus pandemic 3 months before the virus was even discovered. The virus in their simulation killed 65 million people.
Some in Wuhan fear they are being sacrificed for the national good, and the death of a whistle blower doctor from the virus has stirred up popular anger across China. That anger will perhaps spread. Medical authorities, who are the one world government in action, have the absolute power to lock you up in your home or worse, ship you to a public treatment center or hospital where the chances of getting infected are higher.
A British passenger confined aboard the Diamond Princess, Alan Steele, posted on social media that he had been diagnosed with the virus, that he was not showing any symptoms but was being taken to a hospital.
Among Russians quarantined one woman reportedly said she witnessed an evacuee taken away by doctors because she had a slight temperature.
It is highly contagious. One patient, admitted to a hospital in Wuhan, China, infected at least 10 health care workers and four other patients with the coronavirus. In one study 41 percent were presumed to have caught the virus in the hospital, including 17 people who had been admitted for other illnesses, and 40 health care workers. 26 percent of the 138 patients needed intensive care; their median age was 66, compared with a median of 51 years for those who did not require intensive care. For this series of patients, the death rate was 4.3 percent.
“Right now, the actions being taken in China — the Draconian efforts — are what happens when you’re trying to catch a galloping horse that’s already left the barn,” said Stephen Morse, an epidemiologist at Columbia University.
Many have said that the true nightmarish vision and numbers are being hidden by the Chinese but I think everyone will agree that with what is being presented to the public is nightmarish enough.
Sooner or later we have to answer the question of why viral infections produce different results in each individual. Why did some cases of Ebola end in horrific death while others do not? Medically we can safely state that immune system integrity and strength are prominent in prognosis. We can also safely say medical and health officials do not like to talk about the 95 percent of people who will live through this epidemic, which might or might not become a pandemic.
The adaptive capacity of a cell ultimately
determines its fate when it comes under stress.
The data on the patients in the study shows that the illness caused pneumonia and a systemic viral infection that set off a powerful inflammatory response in the body, Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease expert at Vanderbilt University, said.
Viruses cannot be blamed for high levels of body toxicity. We are walking talking portable waste dumps that go into mass destruction mode when viruses enter the equation. If we are deficient in magnesium, and already in a weakened by preexisting conditions, that inflammation response can easily get out of hand.
Dr. Schaffner also indicated that heightened inflammation from diseases like the flu can persist for a month or so after the acute illness is gone, and can increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes in older people.
Clearly there are issues that medical authorities do not want us to bother about even though we can identify particulars of physiology that can spell the difference between life or death from a viral infection.
Viruses are taking the full blame for oxygen, magnesium, bicarbonate and CO2 deficiencies, all of which open doors for viruses to take us to ICU.
Many people, if not most, have compromised immune systems. Viruses cannot be blamed for that either but it certainly makes the little buggers more lethal.
Considering how sick and poisoned much of the human population we might doubt the might of the coronavirus.. If the coronavirus is as mean and tough as it is sold to be we would expect even higher death rates. So many are dying from so many causes already and remember the mainstream has reported a shortage of tests for the virus.
Those more ready to die, those who are already closest to death the virus takes more swiftly, yet beware and take care, it seems true that some healthy people can get taken down quite hard by the virus.
One thing everyone already knows, if the virus does not kill you it will certainly make you miserable, as even the common cold is known to do. In the end it is not clear who will kill the most people, the virus or the world health officials who have had this all planned out in advance through many decades of preparation.
