Lesson 18 – What You Need to Know About Treatments

The best way to treat cancer is to stimulate the body's own resources. The immune system is the key to both fighting and preventing cancer. It is a fluid network designed to protect us from agents of disease. Its primary mission is in resistance and restoration. The immune system must be exquisitely sensitive in detecting the surface features of other cells and substances.

Until a person actually dies it is possible to renew this system and throw it into higher gear to seek out and destroy even late stage infections and cancer. Miracles are just the potential for intense life bursts that manifest through the immune system.

Strong immune systems are formed by the
foods we eat and the attitudes we keep.

The first priority in our protocol is to address patients’ magnesium deficiencies. When it comes to healing and life itself, after the sun, the water we drink and the air we breathe, magnesium lives up to its billing as the miracle mineral that can save us in our time of desperate need. Called by the ancient Chinese the beautiful mineral its beauty is seen in the absolute healing power it contains. It is nothing short of a miracle mineral. It holds the key for hundreds of crucial enzyme reactions and cellular processes. Magnesium chloride, when supplied in sufficient quantities, can kick start cell physiology. Few know that magnesium chloride is an impressive infection fighter and even fewer know that the best way to deliver magnesium to all the cells is through transdermal means.

I received a letter from a professional colleague named George Eby in 2007 that stated that his daughter was destroyed by the terrible side effects of a special type of antibiotic called fluoroquinolones. He said, “My daughter was stricken with this horrible affliction. Cipro sensitivity causes long term (multiple years to life) chronic pain, weakness and tendon weakness leading to tendon breakage and many other horrible effects, some physical and some mental. This is something that everyone needs to know about. We have been destroyed by cipro. I don't think there is much anyone can do, except to give her magnesium - which is somewhat of an antidote. I am very worried but I haven't lost hope, but I am being realistic. Some of the tendon damage is necrotic and permanent. However, we have studies with rattlesnake venom that produce necrosis on animals and simply applying magnesium (chloride) and zinc (gluconate) topically, the necrosis vanishes.” Ten days later I received this email from George.

“Topical magnesium chloride for 10 days = well daughter!”

There is a power and a force in magnesium chloride that cannot be equaled anywhere else in the world of medicine. There is no substitute for magnesium in human physiology; nothing comes even close to it in terms of its effect on overall cell physiology. It goes against a strong gale wind of medical science to ignore magnesium chloride used transdermally in the treatment of any chronic or acute disorder.

Put in the clearest terms possible, our suggestion from the first day on our protocol is to almost drown oneself in transdermally applied magnesium chloride. George Eby used on his slight daughter approximately one ounce applied to the skin a day.

When using nutritional medicines like magnesium chloride, iodine, sodium bicarbonate, vitamin C and alpha-lipoic acid, the dose determines the effect. In conventional Allopathic medicine they say the dose makes the poison but in the Natural Allopathic Medicine protocol we are not using poisons. In Natural Allopathic Medicine we often take doses to exceedingly high levels without the side effects found in pharmaceuticals that are an ever-present danger even at very low doses.

In Allopathic medicine everything, even water and vitamin C, are placed on a scale of toxicity with everything being defined as poisonous. Though it is true that one can drown in water, a large person can safely drink a gallon of it without ill affect and one can put pounds of magnesium chloride in a bath and take very high doses of iodine safely for infectious disorders without the serious and dangerous downside of antibiotics. Adverse effects of natural medicinals are very rare.

As a general rule with all protocol items it is best to start out low and get used to each substance and then slowly bring the doses up. What it says on the bottle of whatever you are using is a good guide for beginning doses. The Nascent Iodine is a good example. On the bottle it says 1-3 drops 3 times a day. Ten drops a day is only 4 mg. I used to give my three-year-old (she is now nine) 15 drops at each application instead of antibiotics and she rarely got sick. I like Nascent Iodine very much but for most people who are going to be using high dosages, for example for cancer treatment, I recommend Lugol’s Iodine because I like it very much too and it is much less expensive.

When taking something for the first time, it is best to start with a minimum dose, like putting your toes in the water to check the temperature. In emergency situations, when you cannot afford the luxury of driving up the doses slowly, it is best to work with a health professional.

Natural Allopathic Medicine shares many traits with orthomolecular medicine, which is a form of complementary and alternative medicine that seeks to maintain health and prevent or treat diseases by optimizing nutritional intake and/or prescribing supplements; it focuses on using the right nutritional molecules in the right amounts for the individual. Cardiologist Dr. Thomas Levy said, “The three most important considerations in effective vitamin C therapy are dose, dose, and dose. If you don’t take enough, you won’t get the desired effects.”

Effective doses are often hundreds of times more than the U.S. Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) or Daily Reference Intake (DRI). Dr. Abram Hoffer said, “Drs. Wilfrid Shute and Evan Shute recommended doses from 400 to 8,000 IU of vitamin E daily. The usual dose range was 800-1600 IU but they report that they had given 8,000 IU without seeing any toxicity.” The Shutes successfully treated over 35,000 patients with vitamin E.[1]

When practicing western medicine it is thought that if the dose is low enough even a highly toxic substance will cease to cause a harmful effect. The toxic potency of a chemical is thus ultimately defined by the dose (the amount) of the chemical that will produce a specific response in a specific biological system. However, poison is poison even at low dosages and doctors and medical officials of the government in the FDA and CDC tend to underestimate toxicity wildly.

Though you might choose to start ten medicinals, you do not want to start all ten on the same day. When using these medicines you use the reactions and feelings of your body to navigate upwards toward higher doses. Our body knows the difference between helpful medicinals and drugs and ones that are doing harm. I always tell people to feel their way up. If you take a dose of something and there is no reaction then it is safe to keep increasing the dose.

One can expect to start feeling something positive within days of starting the Conquering Cancer protocol. Combining methods of administration is the best way of maximizing intake of medicinals. One can use IVs, take medicinal baths, intake orally, use enemas, nebulize and apply transdermally (topically) directly on the skin depending on which item you are using and what you are treating and its severity.

Special Note: Inexpensive treatments are not necessarily any less effective than costly ones. For some medical situations inexpensive medicinals like sodium bicarbonate and iodine and medical marijuana are all actually stronger than the strongest pharmaceuticals except you don’t have the toxicity or dangerous side effects.

In the mainstream medical news we see that for a very difficult to diagnose disease, one of the cheapest medicinals was the ONLY answer. A boy’s serious ailment, glycogen storage disease (GSD), required only a simple fix once it was diagnosed. “Dr. David Weinstein agreed to accept Peter as a patient and to perform DNA testing. He advised Mathiasen to replace the bedtime yogurt with a drink containing several tablespoons of cornstarch. One of the cheapest ingredients in a supermarket at less than $2 per box, cornstarch, provides slow-release glucose. Within weeks, Peter’s episodes largely disappeared.”

“One of the problems we’ve had is that treatments are not fancy—cornstarch is a gravy thickener,” observed Weinstein, who said his program has treated 400 children from 31 countries and nearly every state. “Most people feel that if we’re not treating it with a fancy medication, it’s not a real medical condition,” and in some cases schools don’t take it seriously.

Sometimes, depending on the medical situation, relief is felt within hours. When one puts magnesium oil on the skin sometimes it relieves pain in minutes. Same with medical marijuana salves and balms. Put some on a burn and see how fast the pain goes away.
