Is magnesium helpful for depression?

Can I use magnesium oil while pregnant?
Magnesium oil is absolutely safe to use while pregnant and in fact will be very beneficial to both you and the baby. It is helpful to prevent pre-eclampsia as well as it has anti-seizure and anti-hypertensive properties.
Dr. Sircus states that pregnancy cannot be normal unless magnesium levels are adequate. The concentration of magnesium in the placental and fetal tissues increases during pregnancy and the requirements for this element in a pregnant woman’s organism generally exceed its supply. Hence, pregnancy should be considered a condition of ‘physiological hypo magnesia’ and magnesium should be supplemented. Only caution is if you have kidney dysfunction, then only use it under your doctor’s supervision.

Can I use magnesium chloride for tetanus ?
Yes, magnesium chloride has been found to be most helpful in cases of tetanus. Dr. Delbert discovered its effectiveness in infections a long time ago, and more recently Dr. Vergini has confirmed this fact.
While intravenous administration of magnesium chloride is the best and fastest way to get the mag chloride into the body, the next best is transdermal magnesium chloride. This will increase your magnesium levels faster than any other type of mag chloride (pills, liquid etc.) and won’t cause the diarrhea that oral products will.

Is the use of magnesium causing me itchy arm pits ?
It is doubtful that the magnesium is causing itchy armpits. Many people use magnesium oil as a deodorant under their arms with no problem. It could be possible that since you have increased your use of magnesium oil, more toxins are being released from your body and are coming out in the armpit area. Either cut back on the amount used and see if it stops or bear with it for a week or so as some skin irritations do go away after you become accustomed to the oil. If irritation is too intense stop use of magnesium oil and apply baking soda to the area instead.
Would magnesium chloride be useful to treat ataxia disease ?
Transdermal Magnesium Chloride therapy can absolutely help ataxia… it may even stop it altogether. What is the role of magnesium in epilepsy?
Evidence is mounting that low levels of magnesium contribute to the heavy metal deposition in the brain that precedes Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s. Many of the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease can be overcome with high magnesium supplementation. In a trial with 30 epileptics 450 mg of magnesium supplied daily successfully controlled seizures. Another study found that the lower the magnesium blood levels the more severe was the epilepsy. In most cases magnesium works best in combination with vitamin B6 and zinc.
Magnesium is essential in regulating central nervous system excitability thus magnesium-deficiency may cause aggressive behavior, depression, or suicide. Magnesium calms the brain and people do not need to become severely deficient in magnesium for the brain to become hyperactive. One study confirmed earlier reports that a marginal magnesium intake overexcites the brain’s neurons and results in less coherence–creating cacophony rather than symphony—according to electroencephalogram (EEG) measurements.
If magnesium is severely deficient, the brain is particularly affected. Clouded thinking, confusion, disorientation, marked depression and even the terrifying hallucinations of delirium are largely brought on by a lack of this nutrient and remedied when magnesium is given.
Symptoms that multiple sclerosis (MS) has in common with magnesium deficiency include muscle spasms, weakness, twitching, muscle atrophy, incontinence, nystagmus (rapid eye movements), hearing loss, and osteoporosis. People with MS also have higher rates of epilepsy than controls, which have been linked to magnesium deficiencies.
How much magnesium chloride should I take a day to help me with tremor?
Neurological disorders or conditions that can produce tremor include Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, essential tremors, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodegenerative diseases Tremors can be life altering and the cause must be found if possible. Tremors can affect the hands, arms, head, face, voice, trunk, and legs. Tremors can also occur because of severe stress, .Other causes include the use of some drugs (such as amphetamines, corticosteroids, and drugs used for certain psychiatric disorders), alcohol abuse or withdrawal, mercury poisoning, overactive thyroid, or liver failure.
You should apply magnesium oil on your entire hand, arm or affected areas at least 4 x day until the tremor stops… leave the oil on for at least 30 minutes each time, and massage it in good, then rinse. You can also spray 5-10 drops of the oil into a glass of water 3-4 x/day. Utilize baths too, for relaxation. Magnesium oil has a remarkable effect on stopping or diminishing tremors.
