Today I finally made a big commitment to my staff to start using Facebook and Twitter. I will now have more informal platforms for shorter and ultra-short communications. It is something I have resisted for a time so am quite pleased at myself for being willing to change.
It is a good moment to be doing this for my main mission in life is to be a voice that shines brighter onto the world as things darken, as they are threatening to do. Many years ago I was called the Virtual Voice. Now I am something a little more solid!
This week a fire might start that will burn the western financial system down to the ground. If not this week, next week—or soon in the weeks to come—it looks like the world will experience some severe—possibly even disastrous—disruptions in the financial world and then quickly in the main economy.
Meanwhile I am at my Sanctuary in the interior highlands of Brazil and can hardly imagine ever leaving this paradise. I am hidden behind two rivers that surround us on three sides and behind us is a mountain. When it rains the rivers rise we are trapped in heaven and I just love that. Right behind the house are our healing gardens. One of the rivers snakes right behind and way below the house and it is a delight without comparison. Besides being a retreat and detoxification center we are also going to set up a spiritual hospital and I will be writing more about that.
I have the same concerns, though, as people everywhere, especially with my family spread out for the holidays. It is not a particularly good time to be separated by distance from the ones we love. Lucky it is that I live in Brazil because the effects of a financial tsunami will be slightly delayed.
A recent post by the Automatic Earth that caught my attention:
There’s a group of people, and it’s tempting to call them the 1%, but they’re not really, since there’s politicians in there too who have no shot at even aspiring to be part of the 1%, and media pundits and economists and what have you, who all together try to save the existing financial system at all cost—a cost that they don’t bear; that cost is being paid for by the 99%.
Theirs is just one particular view, one particular idea, of what it takes to get out of the crisis we’re in. Nothing more, nothing less; just one idea. But one that prevails over any alternatives to such a radical extent that, from an objective point of view, it can’t but boggle the mind.
“If we don’t save the banks and the financial system at large, there’ll be Armageddon to pay.” That’s the endlessly repeated prevailing line.
However, if we keep on spending ever more trillions to prevent Armageddon from arriving, we must surely be inviting it, by the very act of doing exactly that, to at some point come knocking on our back door. After all, you can’t spend more and more and then some without ever being served with the bill.

By the end of this week, the US government very likely will have the power to lock up US citizens for life at Guantanamo Bay or other military prisons—without charge and without trial. This means that, in the near future, a controversial Twitter post, attending a peaceful protest, or publishing an anti-Congress critique or anti-TSA rant on Google+ could land you “indefinite detention” for life, in the wording of the bill. No access to a lawyer, no access to trial.
I have written much about pharmaceutical terrorism and medical insanity through the years and through it all the rank-and-file members of the American Medical Association do not complain. They do not complain about me and what I say and they do not complain about the violence they are taught to do in medical school against local populations.
Now we hear that some members of the United States government are wanting to trash the constitution completely—a promise of violence against the common man yet to come.
I am taking the fight for medical freedom and medical sanity to a new level with my soon-to-be-published book, Medical Marijuana.
I have been writing feverishly and will finish this work in the next two weeks. In it I introduce the Batman-and-Robin team of the medical world—a dynamic duo of substances that we should always use together to receive maximum therapeutic effect. Marijuana and magnesium chloride (known as magnesium oil) make an incredible medical team, one that could cripple the big pharmaceutical companies. So you can imagine the joy I am taking in putting this book together. You will be hearing much more about this work.
