A growing body of evidence shows that air pollution affects almost every organ in the body and is linked to a massive range of health problems from heart and lung disease to cancer and diabetes, depression and mental illness to cognitive impairment and low birth weight. One recent study found air pollution was responsible for 1 million stillbirths a year. Another is that young people living in cities already have billions of toxic air pollution particles in their hearts.
CBS News reported that new estimates from researchers published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine showed that annually, nearly 188,000 dementia cases in the U.S. may have been caused by air pollution. It indicated exposure to pollution from wildfires and agriculture as having the most robust links to increasing a person’s risk of Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia later in life.
A new study suggests forever chemicals, or PFAS, reduce the activity of human immune cells. Researchers from the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig, Germany, showed PFAS can impair health by reducing immune activity. But do doctors, as a matter of routine, help their patients detoxify? No, they don’t.
The human race and our entire planet are being poisoned, and modern medicine is not helping but only adding to the toxic burdens people carry in their cells. At least 150 million or more were given a crash course in toxic air with the deadly fires in Canada and all the heavy smog brought to the United States this year.
With these unending fires, North America has been brutal regarding air pollution, but Europe is a basket case. Almost everyone in Europe is breathing toxic air. A Guardian investigation finds 98% of Europeans breathing highly damaging polluted air linked to 400,000 deaths yearly. Only 2% of Europeans breathe air within WHO guidelines for fine particulate pollution, with 30 million living in areas four times over those limits.
Human destiny is on a collision course with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, antibiotics (getting into water supplies), chemicals, highly toxic heavy metals, plastics, and dangerous food additives all showing up in everyone’s blood. And then there are the toxic pharmaceuticals making people sicker, not better.
Special Note: If it were possible to buy stock in companies that make bicarbonates, I would rush out to buy. When the train derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, I wrote that they should recommend and rush tons of baking soda to the scene because bicarbonates neutralize heavy metals, dioxins, and furans in the body. Simple old baking soda detoxifies and cleanses the body and the environment. There is nothing better for emergency medicine, and in this case, dioxin exposure from the highly toxic dioxins released from the deliberate ignition of the Ohio train wreck. The information in this essay shouts out to the human race to protect itself as best as possible from the ever-increasing toxic exposure in our air, water, and food. That protection starts with bicarbonates—more in the ending below on treatments.
There are up to 200,000 man-made chemicals in the environment that were not present a hundred years ago. Most are petroleum-derived. Everyone is exposed, and trace amounts can be found in every living creature. Toxins enter the body by three pathways (ingestion, breathing, and through the skin). We are so surrounded by poisons that they are present in our furniture, women’s makeup, and just about all health and beauty products.
The Romans knew lead could cause serious health problems, even madness and death. However, they were so fond of its diverse uses that they minimized the hazards it posed. They did not realize that their everyday, low-level exposure to the metal rendered them vulnerable to chronic lead poisoning, even while it spared them the full horrors of acute lead poisoning. In the end, Roman engineers brought down the Roman Empire when they replaced their stone aqueducts with lead pipes to transport and supply drinking water, thus turning much of the Roman population into neurological cripples. This is a devastating example of how people can be wrong in their assumptions and actions, leading to massive hurt, suffering, and disease.
It is the inability to see the effects of chronic,
low-level toxicities on human health that has been,
and remains our greatest failing as intelligent beings.
Dr. Boyd Haley
The prolonged effects of low-grade concentrations of toxic substances depend on individual susceptibility,” says Professor I.M. Trakhtenberg from the former Soviet Union. Doctors’ inability to see these effects makes them continue to expose their patients to the harmful effects of radiation and toxic drugs.
In 2010, 13 years ago, we already read that air pollution in major cities is considered dangerous to health as radiation exposure suffered by survivors of the 1986 Chornobyl disaster. Back then, about 175 million people lived where air pollution often reaches dangerous levels.
In the same year, it was reported that the air we breathe is laced with cancer-causing substances and should now be classified as carcinogenic to humans, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared. It does matter where you live and where a person treats their cancer. One does not want to be near a city like the one shown above when battling cancer. “The air we breathe has become polluted with a mixture of cancer-causing substances,” said Kurt Straif of the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).
In 2015, it was reported in the State of the Environment Report that Hundreds of thousands of people in the E.U. — perhaps millions, if present trends continue — will suffer premature death in the next two decades because of toxic air. The European Environment Agency (EEA) blamed governments for inaction. It said that in 2011 alone — the most recent year back then for which there is a reliable tally — over 400,000 Europeans died prematurely from air pollution.
Carbon dioxide is not listed as
a pollutant in the air we breathe.
NASA has recently released the first data maps from a new instrument monitoring air pollution from space. The visualizations show high levels of major pollutants like nitrogen dioxide — a reactive chemical usually produced when fossil fuels are burned for transportation, power generation, and other industrial activities, as well as wildfires — in the atmosphere over parts of North America.
Millions of people living in nearly 600 neighborhoods across
the country are breathing concentrations of toxic air pollutants
that put them at a much greater risk of contracting cancer.

Suppose you are sick and live in a city where you can see the air from a distance; you need not wonder so much about the cause of your illness. It is right there in the air you breathe. It might not be the only source of your disease, but it is a cause – a part of the etiology. Every human being is being poisoned, but in some places, it is like a gas chamber, forcing poisons into our bodies until we get sick and die.
A study suggests that the air we breathe increases insulin resistance and inflammation.[i] Cardiovascular and lung researchers at The Ohio State University Medical Center are the first to report a direct link between air pollution and diabetes, which eventually and statistically increases cancer rates.
Most of our cancer patients have
a lot of amalgam dental fillings.
Professor W. Kostler
Mercury vapors in the mouth are another form of air pollution. Each year in the U.S., an estimated 40 tons of mercury are used to prepare mercury-amalgam dental restorations. “Mercury from amalgam fillings is neurotoxic, embryotoxic, mutagenic, teratogenic, immunotoxic, and clastogenic. It is capable of causing immune dysfunction and autoimmune diseases,” writes Dr. Robert Gammal.
Humanity is traveling down a deadly path. There is “overwhelming evidence that every child, no matter where in the world he or she is born, will be exposed, not only from birth but from conception, to man-made chemicals that can undermine the child’s ability to reach its fullest potential — chemicals that interfere with the natural chemicals that tell tissues how to develop and construct healthy, whole individuals according to the genes they inherited from their mothers and fathers,” says Dr. Theo Colborn, Senior Program Scientist, at the World Wildlife Fund.
Today, humanity is exposed to the highest levels in recorded history of lead, mercury, arsenic, uranium, aluminum, copper, tin, antimony, bromine, bismuth, and vanadium, to mention a few of the metals and thousands of chemicals flooding the environment. Levels are up to several thousand times higher than in primitive man.
The heavy metals in our air contribute to carcinogenesis by inducing/increasing oxidative stress. Oxidative stress damages DNA and can lead to mutations that promote cancer. Heavy metals also disrupt the process of apoptosis (programmed cell death). Apoptosis is vital for safely removing sick/unhealthy cells, including cells that may become cancerous.
From Bad To Worse
Mainstream insane science, represented by the October publication Scientific American, states, “It’s time to engineer the sky. Global warming is so rampant that some scientists say we should begin altering the stratosphere to block incoming sunlight, even if it jeopardizes rain and crops.” I say insane science because to cool a cooling world would be a quick way to kill off billions. The government (NOAA) knows we are going into a deep solar minimum, meaning solar activity (sun spots) will drop off a cliff starting in 2030 and disappear entirely for the rest of that decade and beyond.
Other publications, however, stated, “Solar geoengineering means game over for life on Earth,” which doesn’t bode well since all available data indicates that geoengineering operations have already been deployed for over 75 years. A new major science study states that “the tree of life” (planetary biodiversity) is being decimated, and that is not because of CO2 emissions, which work in the opposite direction, bringing health to the Earth’s plant life.
The Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) estimates that about 77% of the land and 87% of the ocean have been altered by humans, which has led to a loss of 83% of wild mammal biomass, and half of the world’s plant biomass. The IPBES also suggests that more than a million plant and animal species are currently threatened with extinction, potentially putting us on a path to what has been dubbed Earth’s sixth mass extinction.
Plastic Hearts Anyone?
Human hearts contain plastic. A paper in the July Environmental Science & Technology, a journal of the American Chemical Society, reported on finding nine types of microplastic and tens to thousands of plastic pieces in tissues from most parts of the heart. Plastic particles qualify as microplastics if they are less than 0.2 inches long — about the length of a grain of rice.
A study by the University of Oldenburg in Germany summarized in SciTechDaily, found a worrying microplastic source: the air. The study, conducted in collaboration with German and Norwegian researchers, took air samples in areas stretching from the Norwegian coastline to the Arctic.
After analyzing the samples, the researchers identified the types of plastic particles in the atmosphere, including polyester, polyethylene terephthalate — likely from the fashion industry — polypropylene polycarbonate, and polystyrene.
In terms of removal, it’s nearly impossible to eliminate microplastics in our oceans and atmosphere.
Treatments
The key to avoiding long-term harm is to help the body deal with the chemical and heavy metal assault. When exposure is acute, treating from the first moments when one notices foul smell and taste or has flu-like symptoms is essential. Activated charcoal is a remedy for acute toxic exposure.
Though doctors will never admit it, sodium bicarbonate is the first and best medicine to reach for when facing either acute or chronic toxicity. It is powerful enough to clear the kidneys of uranium toxicity and mitigate the toxicity of chemotherapy while allowing, at the same time, for chemo to dig deep into the nastiest tumors. One can bet one’s life that it will help with every type of toxicity, even to a point with radiation exposure.
Clay is also essential to have on hand for medical, environmental, and nuclear emergencies. Clay baths are an intense way of removing heavy metals from the body and would increase our chances of survival if exposed to nuclear fallout. In addition, edible clay can be ingested every day and effectively removes toxins through the process of elimination and should be used by anyone suffering from chronic exposure. The Science of the Pure, the secret of clay, is that the pure has a great attraction to poisons, to the impure, just like a sponge has a great appeal to water. Clay begins healing in the alimentary canal, providing the foundation for successful detoxification and chelation treatments.
Metal chelation is a severe and complex matter. You can end up in worse health after chelation than when you started if you are not well-informed and do not proceed carefully under the care of a competent healthcare practitioner. Mortality from cancer was reduced by 90 percent during an 18-year follow-up of 59 patients treated with calcium-EDTA. Thus, I do recommend glutathione EDT suppositories for serious detox and chelation.
Magnesium, iodine, selenium, and sulfur also
are essential for detoxification and chelation.
The biggest tragedy in medicine and dentistry is the use of mercury. For a decade and a half, Dr. Boyd Haley, renowned former chairman of Kentucky University’s chemistry department, has warned us about what the FDA and CDC do not want us to know about mercury contamination. This matters for cancer patients since medical scientists have noticed that mercury and other heavy metals are at the center of cancer, diabetes, and other diseases.
Haley’s chelator NBMI is astonishing and should be near the top of protocols for cancer and neurological patients (think autism, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease) and for anyone who has had mercury fillings in their mouths as well as for those who live downwind of coal plants, town incinerators, and crematoriums. NBMI reaches the blood-brain barrier and pulls heavy metals out of the brain, bones, and other tissues.
