Molecular hydrogen is the newest and one of the most direct treatments for radiation and cancer because it will protect the body from the oxidative stress caused by radiation and the cancer that sooner or later results from radiation exposure. This has special meaning for frequent air passengers who are exposed at high altitudes to gamma rays, people who live near nuclear plants, people who are exposed by their doctors to PET and CAT scans, and many millions of people on the west coast of North America because of their radiation exposure from Fukushima.[1] Ionizing radiation (IR) is a well-known carcinogen for various human tissues and a complete carcinogen that is able to both initiate and promote tumor progression.
