Summary Conclusion

One of the signaling mechanisms that initiate inflammation in the body is histamine. Histamine increases the permeability of blood vessels to white blood cells and proteins. Dehydration has been shown to increase production of histamine leading to a general, widespread inflammatory response.[1] By ensuring proper hydration of the body we can prevent dehydration and reduce this over production of histamine and hence inflammation.

Dehydration, which can lead to cancer formation (of any type) has the following consequences to our physiology:

  1. DNA damage, which can lead to mutant (cancerous) cells;
  2. Acid-alkaline balance. When dehydrated and urine output is diminished, acid waste accumulates in weak or vulnerable areas of the body. It is well known that a cancerous body is acidic;
  3. Cell receptor damage. Chronic dehydration causes enzymatic changes that lead to numerous problems with cellular communication and hormonal balance;

4) Immune system suppression. Dehydration suppresses the immune system because histamine production in the body is increased, which also increases the production of a chemical called vasopressin, a strong suppressor of the immune system. The importance of proper hydration cannot be overemphasized. If you are properly hydrated and your body is less acidic, your antibody soldiers will be produced in the millions and trillions.

Because allergies are pronounced when the body is short of water and the histamine is acting as a drought manager, the immune system is shut down and antibodies are not produced. Antibodies are part of the army defending home territory from invaders.

In a scientific advisory issued on Aug 1, 2019, the Agency for Science, Technology and Research’s Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology announced the findings of a study that scientists had been able to generate PRL3-zumab, a humanized antibody. Using antibodies to attack cancer cells in the body is a form of cancer immunotherapy that harnesses the immune system to kill cancer cells.

This drug is still in clinical trials so back at the ranch we can still use water to increase the strength of our immune system. Full hydration supports optimal body and immune function. Thus we can conclude that full hydration has an anti-carcinogenic effect. Dehydration caused immune system suppression means there is nothing to halt cancer’s progression no matter what form of chemotherapy one uses.

Dehydration is common in older persons and is associated with poor outcomes including increased mortality and an adverse effect on quality of life. Dehydration occurs because physiological changes associated with aging interact with a variety of disease processes.
