After publishing my Dear IMVA letter yesterday a tidal wave of love came flooding into my inbox and onto our sites. In all my years of publishing I have received much warmth, love and support but this was a tsunami. How could anyone not be deeply touched and honored—so thanks, really thanks!

The beautiful silver lining of doom and gloom scenarios is that for many, it has the potential to bring healthier perspectives to our life. I for one have hugged my spouse and kids more, been quicker to forgive and more in touch with my spiritual side. I’ve even been giving away money. And if it’s not the end, it doesn’t matter. The joy of gifting is returned to me tenfold so it doesn’t even feel very selfless. If we all believed the world as we know it were to come to an end, think of the blessings it would bring to our planet as we all reassess what is really important to us. God bless & keep up the good work.

I appreciate any antidote to mainstream media but somehow your emails have no hint of self grandeur or ulterior motive which is why I read every paragraph (unlike many other alternative sources of news). And I agree the alignments of planets/comet/sun and the 3 major earthquakes are just way too coincidental for my liking.

On the whole, no one with their heads and hearts screwed in properly should find anything really to argue about regarding the information you have offered to the public as it’s mostly accurate (who’s perfect?), very informative and has an ability to get at least some people of good will away from mediocrity, complacency and presumption on these issues and which is a dangerous mindset, as well as idealism which is not a very healthy mindset overall.

Dear Mark, you may not have been calm, but you are coherent and honest. So called “rational” people have trouble considering any possibilities that have not been sanitized and made safe for them by “authorities.” Whether there is a catastrophe or not I appreciate what you do. It is not the worst thing for us to be mildly hysterical at times, given the state of human consciousness, and the consequent damage to life. It is preferable to denial, lies, and distortion. The motto of my law school (U British Columbia) is Fiat justicia ruat coelum: let justice be done though the heavens fall. Justice is so much about who is right, and to what degree. Yet, if practicing law has taught me anything, it has shown me that being right is highly overrated. When the human organism feels it is right about an issue, it then feels entitled to engage in behavior that supports hierarchy. Arrgh.
What you’re doing is not essentially about being right or about truth. Seems to me it’s about courage—the courage to keep one’s eyes open though the heavens fall. The courage to witness, to take in knowledge, to form and hold opinions that may need to change tomorrow. Of course such fearless behavior will be derided, scorned and ultimately suppressed by people and forces that think they know better how to manage Creation. Blessings upon thee and thy work.

I receive so many of your informative communications that I feel as if I know you. I am just an average city gal, with a serious mistrust in most of the Institutions I used to have blind faith in. Experience has taught me many things that strike fear, breed mistrust, and contaminate the heart and mind, sometimes reaching into the very core of my being. Reading the thoughts and views expressed by IMVA give me strength, harmless weapons to defend myself and my family’s best interests if the dark days ahead of us do come to pass.

I always wonder what you will write about, and how you choose to handle the horrible things that keep arising; often we share the same worries, so I find it enlightening to read about your plans.
