Climate Scam – Climate Lies – Failed Green New Deal is a Warning to Us All

Published on April 8, 2026

In the mainstream news on April 5, we read that conditions will feel and, at times, look more like February or early March. Just like we would expect in a world in heat, a world spiraling out of control because, after all, it is the warmest it has ever been in modern history. So surely winter continuing way into Spring is exactly what we would expect. Right? Winter is not done with us yet!

A strong polar circulation remains anchored over Canada, with the core still intact over Hudson Bay. According to the latest ECMWF runs, temperatures at 500 mb are holding near -45C (-49F) into mid-April, gradually easing toward -40C (-40F). That is deep winter air, persisting deep into Spring. Yesterday, Tuesday the 7th, we read ‘Heavy’ Snow Warning Announced for 10 States as Temperatures Plunge. No warnings today about record heat, it’s too cold for global warming lies. Well, actually, that would be too much to expect, just read about Spring coming earlier than normal.

Major outlets are cutting climate teams. CBS News reduced most of its
climate unit in October. The Washington Post cut 14 climate roles in February.
The climate narrative is dead. The activists just haven’t realized it yet.

As Spring marched in, Winter did not march out. It must be embarrassing for the global warming cheerleaders who predicted there would be no more snow or ice in the Arctic that we are now seeing record cold and snowfall. During all these years, they have been screaming about record-high temperatures, trying to convince us that we are living in the warmest time in modern history. Crops are already suffering from climate extremes, and now we have an epic energy, diesel, and fertilizer problem that will lead to a gangrape of the world’s agricultural sector.

To climate change fanatics, global warming means record cold. For instance, just one proof they are out of their minds and have no idea what climate truth is, Fairbanks has just recorded its coldest December–March period on record. The 2025–26 season averaged just -13.6F (-25.3 °C), the lowest in records back to 1904. From November through March, temperatures never rose above freezing – the first time that’s happened. The last above-freezing day was October 31.

There will be less energy and money for people
around the world to stay warm and fed.

April Opens With Record Cold Across Eastern Canada. Canada is still posting sub-40C lows. Take B.C., for example. In Tofino, temperatures recently dropped to -3.2 °C (26F), breaking a 121-year-old record set in 1905 (books back to 1896).

Capracotta, Italy, in April 2026.

Capracotta, Italy has just been buried by a spring snowstorm more typical of January. The mountain town in Molise, sitting at 1,421 m (4,662 ft), was recently hit by a blizzard that dropped 1.5 m (59 in) of snow in about 24 hours. Follow-up coverage from Italian media showed snow depths in the town exceeding 2 m (79 in), with some local reports saying the deepest drifts topped 3 m (118 in).

In Roccacaramanico, Italy, exceptionally heavy snow continues to fall with more than a meter (3.3 feet) accumulating. Across Poland’s Tatra Mountains, conditions have deteriorated sharply, with deep snow, near-zero visibility, and unstable slopes forcing authorities to shut down the region. Snow depth has exceeded 1.8 m (5.9 ft) in places. France’s wine regions are battling early-April frost, with temperatures dropping to -3C (27F) in Chablis, Yonne. Growers are deploying emergency measures.

The same cold air mass driving snow across Europe is now pushing south into the Sahara. Latest forecasts show temperature anomalies of roughly 15 °C below normal across parts of northern North Africa.

Exceptional Chill Sweeps The Sahara. A rare cold snap has pushed deep into the central Sahara, delivering record April lows across Algeria. In the Assekrem Mountains, temperatures plunged to -6C (21F) — an exceptional, record-setting reading for April. Further north, Tamanrasset dropped to 2.3 °C (36F) — also a new record low for April (since the 1950s)

Antarctica has just reset the bar for March cold.

Antarctica Sets New March Cold Record At -76.4 °C (-105.5F) On March 25, temperatures at Vostok Station fell to -76.4 °C (-105.5F), establishing a new March record for the continent. March marks the beginning of the descent into Antarctica’s long winter phase. However, values this low are more characteristic of the deep winter core between July and August. Antarctica is locking into Winter fast this year—and has never been colder in March (observations back to ~1957).

Climate reporters slant everything they report on in the direction of a lie.

Bering Sea Ice Surges In Unusual Winter Pattern

Ice in the Bering Sea pushed unusually far south this winter, reaching its greatest extent since at least 2013 and expanding into areas that have seen little to no ice in recent years. Ice spread across Bristol Bay, down along the Alaska Peninsula, and out toward Cold Bay, Unimak Island, and the Pribilof Islands. In places, fishermen were forced to navigate through ice fields.

In 2020, the European Union launched its Green Deal. Six years later, investments in hydrogen-based projects have collapsed, and electricity prices are twice as high as in the US and China. Europe is losing its competitive edge. Germany dismantled all its nuclear and most of its coal plants, and now that imported energy is drying up, the country is in trouble.

The idea was that Europe would become the world’s first climate-neutral continent while strengthening its industrial base. Six years later, the picture is bleak as the EU’s global competitiveness weakens dangerously. It even struggles to keep its citizens warm.

Crazed leaders ignored the fact that politicians and authorities are not neutral social planners but are influenced by self-interest, emotional narratives, and special interests. And on top of everything, politicians can only think of war and borrowing more money they do not have to support Nazi Ukraine.

Graphic claiming the EU’s Green Deal is a warning, showing wind turbines and an industrial plant emitting smoke.

Between 2010 and 2026, at least $2 trillion was poured into wind and solar. The promise was cheaper energy and lower emissions. Neither materialized. Electricity costs rose. Grid stability declined. Fossil fuels remain central. Weather-dependent generation was treated as a replacement for controllable power, but its output follows the weather. Intermittent supply requires backup capacity, grid balancing, and overbuild. Renewables haven’t replaced fossil fuels — they’ve been layered on top. Running two systems simultaneously drives cost.

Two trillion dollars could have delivered continuous, high-density power. Instead, it delivered higher electricity prices, industrial strain, and a less reliable grid.

Europe’s Climate Narrative Is Cracking

A political shift has begun. After years of “code red” messaging and accelerated Net Zero lunacy, European leaders are starting to confront the cost: weakened industry, rising energy prices, and shrinking economic competitiveness. Heavy industry across Europe—especially in Germany—has been squeezed by high energy costs and regulatory pressure. Manufacturing is relocating. Output is falling. The continent that once led industrial production is now struggling to sustain it.

Alice Weidel, an economist, said, “We must declare the climate crisis over,” said Weidel in a recent speech. “The whole thing is a hoax. A complete scam to crush industry.”

While Europe forces through rapid decarbonization, China continues to expand coal power at scale, securing cheap, stable energy for its industrial base. Japan is preparing an emergency shift back to coal.

China is expanding its energy base through every available source. Beijing knows the key to prosperity is energy abundance. The country built two new coal power plants a week in 2025. It has greatly advanced its gas and even its wind and solar output. And when it comes to nuclear, the contrast with Germany couldn’t be clearer.

The world has a serious climate problem that has turned violent, but the problem and the scam is that CO2 is not a problem, being a necessary gas, not a pollutant. The world has no shortage of chemical and heavy-metal pollution, but it is losing, not gaining, heat. Pollution is a great part of the problem, blocking sunlight as it does. Geoengineering is another serious problem, as are changes in the sun. Still, the days are coming when we will wish we had man-made global warming, because the future and the present are already promising cold.

Just recently, we saw exaggerated news about heat domes in the USA. However, there are always climate articles designed to scare us into submission to the climate narrative that wants to join the climate scam religion and believe in climate idiots like Bill Gates and a long line of money/monkey thinking men and women who pride themselves in ripping reason and even sanity from the earth.
