It seems almost everyone I talk to in the States is in shock over the attempted assassination of President Trump. So, I enclose Doug Casey and Dr. Naomi Wolf’s writings below to give the best context to current events in this regard.
But it is weird to say the least with the New York Post reporting that Secret Service was warned about Thomas Crooks as a ‘threat’ 10 minutes before Trump took stage — but let ex-president go on anyway. The New York Times wrote, “In interviews from the West Coast to the Deep South, Americans across party lines say they are deeply apprehensive, and not just because of last weekend’s attempt on a presidential candidate’s life.”
“Roiled by culture wars, reeling since the pandemic, broiling under biblical heat and besieged by disinformation, voters and community leaders say they already are on edge in ways for which their experience has not prepared them.”
Doug Casey writes, “The U.S. government, in particular, has been overrun by the wrong kind of person. It’s a trend that’s been in motion for many years but has now reached a point of no return. In other words, a type of moral rot has become so prevalent that it’s institutional in nature. There is not going to be, therefore, any serious change in the direction in which the U.S. is headed until a genuine crisis topples the existing order. Until then, the trend will accelerate.”
“The reason is that a certain class of people – sociopaths – are now fully in control of major American institutions. Their beliefs and attitudes are insinuated throughout the economic, political, intellectual, and psychological/spiritual fabric of the U.S,” writes Casey.
I place Doug Casey recent words as an introduction to Dr. Naomi Wolf’s article about the attempted assassination attempt on President Trump. It’s a bold essay that begins with “Subsequent to the assassination attempt against President Trump last Saturday in Butler, PA, I need to talk about Dr Jill Biden and her office. I believe Dr Jill Biden and Hunter Biden and Dr Jill Biden’s staff need to be investigated subsequent to (my awkward grammar is to avoid the legal repercussions of saying, “in relation to”) the assassination attempt against President Trump.”
The core content of the essay is provided by Wolf’s husband Brian O’Shea, who spent a career in military intelligence, in intelligence, and then in private security, including in “close protection.” His words give meaningful analysis that I think everyone should see.
