This title is what you will see in the mainstream; it makes no sense because the real story is that we all die, sooner or later; we all die from aging. But we may be able to slow aging, meaning living longer, if we are smart and do the right things.
Most medicine waits for aging to produce a recognizable disease, then tries to treat it. A growing field of researchers is pursuing a more ambitious idea: intervene earlier in the biological processes that make cancer, dementia, cardiovascular disease, frailty, and other conditions increasingly unlikely as people get older.
Silicon Valley billionaires are obsessed with ‘reprogramming’ their bodies for longevity and, as expected, they choose the most expensive, high-tech way to do it. Jeff Bezos, Peter Thiel, Yuri Milner, and Sam Altman have all invested in rejuvenation. The very first human attempt at cellular reprogramming is underway, and it looks like it’s working. I think they are very funny because it’s like building an expensive house with no foundation whatsoever.
Really, we read the most ridiculous anti-aging claims, like Life Biosciences releasing its first safety data. So far, three patients have received the experimental therapy: an eye injection, coupled with eight weeks of daily antibiotics that turn on the rejuvenation factors inside their cells. It sounds cool, but is it?
Environment Matters
One of the world’s wealthiest cities is enduring the world’s most polluted air, so no matter how rich and powerful you are, if you want to live a long, healthy life, avoid cities like Singapore, Beijing, Calcutta, Delhi, and a long list of others that nobody knows the names of. California leads the United States in pollution, while Turkey and the Balkans lead Europe in pollution hotspots. Breathing polluted air 24/7 promises early death and certainly vascular and heart disease, and cancer. Bottom line: Where You Live Matters.
According to a study published in the journal Science, roughly 50%
of lifespan is determined by lifestyle and environmental choices.
Simple, Inexpensive Anti-Aging Vs Sophisticated, Expensive
For decades, “reversing aging” belonged mostly to science fiction, supplement marketing, and speculative longevity research. Now, in 2026, they are getting truly sophisticated: ER-100, an experimental therapy developed by Life Biosciences, is entering human testing with an unusually ambitious goal, restoring older or damaged cells to a more youthful biological state rather than simply slowing their decline.
David Sinclair, the Harvard geneticist who co-founded Life Biosciences, has spent years arguing that aging involves a loss of epigenetic information, the instructions that help cells remember which genes should be active and which should remain silent. ER-100 is one of the first serious clinical attempts to test part of that idea in people.
The central idea behind ER-100 is partial epigenetic reprogramming. Instead of changing a person’s DNA sequence, the treatment aims to alter how existing genes are regulated so damaged or aged cells behave more like younger versions of themselves. It sounds nice, sounds expensive, and overlooks the main factors involved in aging and health.
5 Everyday Signs You’re Tracked for a Longer Life

In July, I published this essay, and it reveals the real secret to a longer, healthier life without bankrupting you or relying on doctors or mad medical scientists who make things as complicated and expensive as possible. I have written and published more on magnesium than anyone else alive (no kidding), and it gives us the perfect example of how ignorant doctors are about life itself. It is the lead item in the basic lineup of anti-aging, anti-disease substances, almost all ignored in favor of toxic pharmaceutical drugs that shorten, not lengthen, life. Simple clue: Live longer, be healthier and happier by protecting your magnesium status.
My “ultimate fountain of youth protocol” boils down to 12 interventions that reinforce each other:
- Hydrogen inhalation — the most recent addition, targeting oxidative stress at the mitochondrial and nuclear levels.
- EWOT (Exercise with Oxygen Therapy) — driving oxygen deep into capillaries through the combination of high inspired O₂ and exercise-driven circulation.
- Bicarbonates (sodium, potassium, magnesium) restore the pH buffer system that declines ~18% by age 90.
- Magnesium — the “lamp of life,” central to ATP, enzyme function, and membrane stability.
- Iodine — thyroid function, antimicrobial defense, and metabolic regulation.
- Selenium — glutathione peroxidase activity, cancer risk reduction (4-5x lower prostate cancer risk with high selenium).
- Sunlight — not just vitamin D but the full electromagnetic input that regulates circadian biology.
- Chlorine Dioxide – allows one to clean our inner house just as water experts use it to purify water.
- Superfoods / concentrated nutrition — the kitchen as the first pharmacy
- Breathing retraining — slowing respiration to restore CO₂ and reverse the Bohr effect suppression
- Open radiating heart — the emotional/spiritual dimension that modulates immune function through measurable stress hormone pathways.
Those with open hearts
stay young forever.
- CO2 Medicine – oxygen delivery and circulation.

This week I will finally publish my book, Carbon Dioxide Medicine. Modern medicine made a big mistake when it forgot the best, most useful medicine it once used routinely. The first medical book on carbon dioxide and its use to heal breast cancer is 227 years old, and of course we all owe our lives to carbon dioxide because without it there would be no oxygen and no life on Earth.
So, you can imagine how useful CO2 gas would be for everything from critical care to anti-aging. If you can’t imagine, read the book. I promise it will prolong your life and help you recover from whatever disease you might have. And it’s inexpensive, even if you go for the real deal of carbogen inhalation therapy. If you are in an ambulance, ER, or ICU, this is what you want, though an intravenous bag of magnesium would certainly help a lot.
If you want to go really dirt cheap, just drink some baking soda. It magically turns into carbon dioxide if you squeeze a lemon into it, or you can just drink it and let your stomach acid turn it into magic. The last thing you want later in life is to become bicarbonate deficient; that will shorten your life and make your ending more miserable. Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate, but one can also take potassium bicarbonate or drink magnesium bicarbonate super water.
I have written many times about what happened to me when I slept for six months on hydrogen/oxygen inhalation therapy. That was seven years ago, and I ended up looking 20 years younger; still, no matter what I go through, both family and old friends who haven’t seen me in years say the same thing. You don’t change. At least in how I look. Inside, it’s a different story; at 74, intensity and evolution best describe my inner life.
