Travel Nightmares With Arctic Conditions Prevailing in Fall

Published on December 5, 2024

Besides nuclear war and financial calamities, the most significant threats are longer winters, increasing cold and snow, diminishing agricultural production, and not having enough money for energy to keep people warm. Governments know that more people die of the cold than the heat. The day will come when manmade global warming will be a frustrated dream.

It is one of the recent coldest and snowiest starts in December. Even Florida was plunged into winter this week, with wind chills dropping to the upper 30s inland and low 40s along the coast. West Palm Beach’s expected low of 45F is far below the early December norm of 64F and will approach the coldest readings recorded for December 3 (43F from 1903) and December 4 (42F from 1974).

The Florida Times-Union even ran a headling Another Cold Front heading to Florida. How Low Will It Go and Could It Snow This Time? I have said for years until it snows in Miami, global warming fanatics will not get off their high horses and admit how wrong and pigheaded they are.

An Arctic air mass gripped much of the U.S. last weekend, unleashing record snowfalls and bitterly cold temperatures because of record warm temperatures. Really? Believe that and believe spending by borrowing almost 3 trillion a year, war is good, and it is not a problem to risk civilization with nuclear conflict, and not a problem to inject genetic materials into 6 billion people. You win the prize for most gullible.

Nearly 70% of the continental U.S. faced freezing temperatures, with daily highs 10–25F below average. In Erie, Pennsylvania, 31 inches of snow had settled early last Sunday, stranding even the plowing trucks. North East recorded 42 inches Friday morning through Saturday afternoon, with residents describing arduous clearing efforts. In New York’s Tug Hill Plateau, a healthy 46 inches (117 cm) of snow buried Barnes Corners by Sunday morning. Nearby Copenhagen saw even more, with 58.8 inches—nearly five feet—accumulating by Sunday night, according to NWS data.

At the South Pole, the Antarctic Plateau has
been breaking cold records month after month.

The media is tightly controlled regarding climate change, so we cannot expect the truth unless we want to be blind. Studying climate history is critical to understanding climate change, but the media never provides that information. Not only can they not remember previous devastating mini-ice ages that killed millions through starvation and freezing to death, but they will never report on what has been happening even over the last six months.

In June, I wrote, “In the mainstream news, we read that last year was the hottest ever. So, it makes no sense that it is still snowing in June in certain spots and crop-damaging frosts in other areas, as summer is upon us.”

In August, I wrote, “The European weather model forecasts near-record cold air over Northern California this week, with temperatures at 5,000 feet expected to crash below 40F—some 20F below normal. Summer snow is in the forecast. And swaths of the Eastern U.S. continue to endure August lows not seen in decades.”

In September, I wrote, “Winter in Europe is arriving very early. A potentially record-smashing summer snowstorm has commenced in the European Alps, with a few models predicting as much as 5 feet of snow hitting the highest peaks this weekend. Early-season snow has been hitting Europe’s mountains for weeks, but now it’s intensifying, spreading to relatively low elevations. On September 12, it’s still summer, yet the Met Office said temperatures across Scotland would quickly dip to zero, reaching -3C (26.6F) in some isolated spots.”

In early October, I wrote, “On September 16, California issued its earliest snow advisory in the past 20 years, which was an alert for residents in Sierra Nevada, according to the National Weather Service. Earlier-than-usual ice cover in the eastern Arctic will close navigation across that section of the route for non-ice class vessels starting on October 15, according to state nuclear corporation Rosatom, which manages the channel.

Again, in October, I wrote, “More than 60 million people from the Plains to the Appalachians and Northeast are under frost or freeze alert as temperatures drop. Winter is setting in early from Iceland to China, and records are falling. A powerful cold front is sweeping the U.S., ushering in freezing temperatures, frost, and even sizable snowfalls. A Freeze Warning is in effect for southern Minnesota and much of the Midwest, with temperatures dropping into the 20s.

At the end of November, I wrote, “A powerful cold wave is also sweeping into Europe, already delivering record-breaking temperatures and heavy snowfall. Heavy snow blanketed parts of Germany, Austria, Italy, and other Alpine nations, creating hazardous conditions and widespread disruptions. Authorities are urging caution as Europe braces for one of its most intense early winter storms.

The Future

Wait five years if this does not look ominous enough for this winter. The United States government predicts solar activity will plummet. NOAA predicts a grand solar minimum as sunspots drop to almost zero at the end of this decadeThat means increasing cold. Teeth will chatter, bones will be brittle from the cold, and many will be poorer at the expense of keeping warm. Just look at the NOAA chart for the catastrophic drop in sunspot activity starting between 2030 and 2040.
